Please don't post any more about his citizenship. He is a legal citizen of the U.S. and is legally eligible for the Presidency.
We need to focus on his weak resume and ties to radical antiamericans.
The surest way to bring attention to this issue is to ban it.
My personal opinion is that this one of the reasons hillary only ‘suspended’ her run for president. It COULD BE that the reason the birth certificate was posted was to start a flood of interest in it and sites where it could point out the obvious flaws in it.
Hillary can just sit back and say..”Hey, it didn’t come from me, it came from right wing bloggers”
Now if we could put a stop the “Obama’s a Muslim” crap, there’s hope yet of not making all conservatives and/or Obama opponents look like complete morons.

I agree with you that prsonal attacks are part of politics. But this is a unique situation. Do you want to win or not? That’s the bottom line. You have to face the facts, the fact is, Obama has a great personality and he is charasimatic on top of it. Throw in the fact that he is the first black nominee and it ends up making those who are attacking him personally appear racist. Now you can say you don’t care it that’s how it appears, but it will cost the Republicans if they try to play stupid regarding this issue. Obama needs to be attacked on his liberal policies how they will fuel the enemy and how it will destroy the standard of living even further for people who actually work for a living.

The fact is, OB has been obfuscating and dissimulating from the beginning.
As to the text - what I found most surprising is that, given this is supposedly a scan, I didn't even have to realign the text at all when I inserted it - and they align perfectly.
Have you ever tried to get a scan to line up perfectly horizontally for Photoshop editing? Usually you'll end up tilting the text slightly one way or another - not so at all here.
And here's an 800% look at the original and inserted text:
Yes, the original is slightly different then mine - but the whole original document was highly jpg compressed before my text was inserted - I attempted to get mine to the same compressional level, and could've done better had I taken the time. In any case, you'll notice that both have the same whiteness around them. You'll also notice the the printed seal looks like it was actually scanned, whereas the rest looks similar to my Photoshop addition.
These are just things to consider. The fact that I was able to insert text with such minimal effort is, to me, a red flag.

I understand your concern and maybe as yet this doesn’t rise to the level of the Swift Boats or Dan Rather work done at FR, AND I’D LIKE TOO, TO MOVE ON TO ISSUES SUCH AS PUSHING MCCAIN TO TAKE A FIRM CONSERVATIVE STAND ON DRILLING!!!!! but here are my thoughts.
Firstly, I think clearly the rumors originated in the Hillary camp, and were fanned by people like Bob Beckel.
Secondly, I’ve seen the birth certificate in question and it raises some questions. Why is the serial number blacked out? This looked like a modern reproduction.
When I’ve asked for a copy of my birth certificate it’s a photo copy. ANY FREEPERS OUT THERE CIRCA BORN AROUND 1961 WHO CAN REPRODUCE THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR US?
Do we know what hospital he was born at? Any eye witnesses? Surely there would be records there to dispel rumors. I mean we have Reagan’s place of birth, and his schools, his everything. It’s a simple trail that you can follow. Obama’s reads like an Agatha Christie novel.
Good points. And, yes, it is VERY odd that they would’ve been able to scan it so perfectly. I’ve done a fair bit of “photoshopping” myself, and you’re right - it’s one of the harder “tricks” as far as alignment of text and such when working with a scan.

I am of an age where if I were born in Hawaii, I could get a certified True copy of my Original Birth certificate, instead of the “certification of live birth” we are getting from the Obama camp.
The black used in this document is artificially darker I believe then it would be if it was just a scan of an original document. It matches almost exactly the black in the redacted area of the certificate number meaning of course that who ever shopped this document was using that shade of black as a base layer when preparing the image but selecting the certificate number to be cut out rather then pixelating it so that it could not be read.
That same shade of black would be on the pallet when they then used it to add text, Using the sampler I was able to confirm this by comparing the two colors with a pixel from each area.
It is important to note that what we are being given is by no means the original document in question but rather a most recent updated description of the original even if this picture is 100% accurate and that the original document could still be vastly different then what we are seeing here.
I would suggest to anyone that cares about this to remember we still are not being shown a certified True copy of the Original Birth certificate and that what we are getting is equally as evasive as Obama not showing his original birth Certificate.
And for anyone that prefers to attack Obama on the issues, Please feel free to do so!

You know... I did a fair bit of googling last night searching for “Barak Obama Kenya Birth” using various search terms hoping to find the references to the relatives who claim he was born in Kenya. The only thing I found that state he was “Kenyan Born” was a site named, I believe, something like USA Africa, or a variation of that.
I never did find those particular quotes, however, I noticed something interesting. On all of the blog posts, and white-papers that I came across that have been published on this in an attempt to dispel the rumor they all cite the same source for the information - Barak’s own testimony from his first book, and nothing more or less.
Yes, and people who could read the law, and knew it was idiotic to attack McCain’s eligibility, asked people on FR to please knock that off as well because it was a stupid waste of time and made us look like a bunch of jabbering monkeys who didn’t understand the law and thought that a child born on a U.S. Military base to a U.S. Military Officer and his wife was somehow not a natural born citizen.
Get a grip people.

What birth certificate? Apparently LGF has a link to the one released on Obama’s site. No time to read it now(gotta run)..but probably will not spend much time on it for now.

As you said, the whole marxist angle seems much more promising to investigate at this point. I just wonder how many people realize what a threat marxism really is. With all the kids wearing Che t-shirts nowadays one wonders if that’s exactly WHY they are supporting him...
Is it typical on the Hawaiian certificate of birth to list the race of the parents? I’ve never seen that before. On mine (a reissue), it only lists my parents’ names at the time of my birth and their birthplace state. My mother’s maiden name is not listed since they were married. Is it typical on a reissue to list the mother’s maiden name?
Also, if it is only a certificate (not the original), I thought it would have a date that it was issued to the requestor.
