SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- Osama bin Laden's former driver may not go on trial this summer at Guantanamo after all. The military lawyer for Salim Hamdan says the Supreme Court ruling on the rights of Guantanamo prisoners is likely to at least delay the Yemeni's war crimes trial.

Navy Lt. Cmdr. Brian Mizer told The Associated Press he will file a motion to dismiss the war crimes charges against Hamdan based on the court's finding that Guantanamo prisoners have constitutional rights.

The defense lawyer said Wednesday he will argue that Hamdan was denied his constitutional right to a speedy trial.

Since there is such a clamor to close Club Gitmo, why not utilize 'eminent domain' to open the new Club on David Souter's estate in NH ?

Listen Americans, and understand!

The UnAmerican, treacherous Democrats are out there! They can’t be bargained with. They can’t be reasoned with. They don’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.

Now we’re going to give these guys the full panoply of constitutional rights? It’s utterly ridiculous. The John Walker Lyndh and Zacarias Moussauoi trials cost the federal government a bundle. What is it going to cost us to let this gang of terrorists roam through the legal system?

I don’t think they want us dead, because then we can’t pay taxes. I do think they’ve developed their own side in this conflict. They’ve moved to a position of neutrality in the conflict between the U.S. and Muslim terrorism.

I guess the only thing to do is send all the detainees back to their countries of origin and let the authorities there deal with them.

And not take any more prisoners from now on.

No, they are not neutral at all.

The protect them, aid them, abet them, give them our intell, the comfort them, and they travel to their countries to meet with them.

The Democrats prosecute our military men, they agitate against and slander our CIC, VP and military, they undercut our missions overseas, at the UN, and in the courts. They betray us at every turn.

No, they are far from neutral.

You are correct.

In my opinion, the Democrat Party is the biggest single threat to the security of the Unites States of America as envisioned by the Founding Fathers.

They are far from neutral. They are on the side of the enemy, in fact, they are the enemy.Al Quada [sp?] is only the instrument used.

Anyone close to Osama bin Laden should be presumed guilty unless they can prove their innocence.

We need prisoners so we can interrogate them. After that, we can shoot them, or use a cheaper and more effective means of execution if necessary.
