Id love to be able to say that American voters are far too intelligent to ever fall for the socialist drivel currently peddled by the New Democrat Party, aka - the Democratic Socialists of America. But that would be a lie...
Sadly, many Americans are indeed stupid enough to overlook the reality that universal health care and socialized medicine is the same thing. They are indeed stupid enough to support socialism over economic freedom, a greater communal good over individual liberty, a nanny state over self-governance and even a completely unqualified half-black 100% Marxist for president over a man who paid the ultimate price for American freedom in a Vietnam prison camp.
Just how stupid is the average American voter today?
(Then the writer lists just how stupid the average voter really is, and provides some VERY interesting information!)

You’ve been reading too many Socialist talking points memos.
Want a glimpse at real racism, walk into Obama’s church on any Sunday of the year.
I have not met many whites who hate blacks in my life. But I have not met many blacks who like whites my friend.
Racism is in the eye of the beholder. Call it as you see it.
And you excel at personal attacks.
In a word, yes. And it was done intentionally by public indoctrination centers aka govt run schools. A stupid populace is easier to rule...
The U.S. Senate can’t even manage their own food service without a huge deficit and now will be turning it over to private enterprise. How in the world do they plan on managing national health care?
Maybe more American voters might be making more intelligent choices if the Republican Party had presented them with a real contrast this year. Unfortunately if you ask voters to choose between a liberal Democrat and a liberal Republican, a lot of them are going to end up making their decision based on stupid and trivial things like which candidate seems “cooler” or gives a better speech or whatever. I admire McCain’s service during Vietnam but since then, he has not exactly been very inspiring to conservatives. And too many Republicans in Congress have been acting like wimps or else acting ethically just like Democrats. Maybe if the Republicans offered a strong conservative alternative you would see more intelligent behavior out of more Americans. The GOP are not blameless spectators in this.
No, it means out of the entire column, which was not about that topic at all, he CHOSE to light on that line as a halfhearted attack on McCain and the writer.
If you think this writer does not know the subject, I suggest you read his years of work on the matter.

This guy took a childish shot and ignored the overall importance and validity of he entire column, just to take a hit at McCain.
That’s what’s wrong with the current conservative movement. They are so bent on petty internal attacks that they are likely to place Obama in the WH just to make a childish point that every conservative already knows...
Defend him if you like... But it was a childish shot of NO value to anyone.
Rightfully so, proven by some comments on this very thread.
Now if they would just understand why those prices are what they are and react accordingly.
Self-ping for shameless appropriation later.
Just a hunch here, but I don't think the author is being racist. It's a rhetorical device: he goes from "half-black" to "100%" (Marxist).
Now I could be wrong he may be a racist but nevertheless it is a rhetorical play on words. And probably ill-advised.
No, you’re right. The phrase is most commonly used when referring to death of a soldier.
I’m just shocked any conservative would suggest that McCain did not pay an ultimate price for freedom, especially as compared to Obama.
I’m even more saddened that out of all the VITALLY IMPORTANT facts in this column, some choose to take issue with this line...
How sad!
“How in the world do they plan on managing national health care?”
They don’t care. It is not about managing healthcare, at least not in terms of providing adequate services. It is about seizing control of 1/7 of the economy and all the power, room for payola, and opportunity to line their pockets and increase their power that doing so will bring them.
That's not necessarily dumb. It's cheaper than Terminix, I suppose...
Quote of the week from our esteemed friend Charles Barkley. For those of you that don’t know, he’s a former basketball NBA All Star who is now a sports commentator, is extraordinarily funny, and should run for office with this in-sight.
“Poor People have been voting for Democrats for the last 50 years, ............and they are still poor.”
Yes, racism on the part of those who call a half-black man and a whole white man “black” just because they promote the “black” movement is indeed RACISM.
Someone who points our the racism in that is NOT a racists, unless you’re a liberal.
I see that!
Not all of us can read.
No, man, you're missing the big picture. John McCain comes back from Nam primed for a glorious political career. But is this "John McCain" the same one that went in? There are wheels within wheels within wheels.
