WASHINGTON - Record high prices for gasoline probably won't drop before the November election, Republican John McCain said Wednesday.

That’s a winning message.
Wow...a real economic genius, ain’t he?
One thing’s for sure...as long as environmental kooks like McCain and his fellow Democrats are running Congress, America’s energy supply will never be allowed to meet demand — and prices will soar.
Wow - that’s not how Reagan took care of this problem
Why would McCain jawbone this bubble higher?
I appreciate the honesty John, but shouldn’t you be proposing a SOLUTION to the problem?
Way to lock in the vote Johnny. LOL
I sure wish I had a bus I could throw him under.
Exactly my response: That’s nice, John, and what do you propose we DO?
John and his ilk are the problem.
Pffft.
Because he's an idiot!
I would be more annoyed at the rest of his remarks, but at least I know he’s also for nuclear power. It’s so sad, the republicans could regain the lead by justifiably blaming liberal policies for depriving us of energy. And McCain is unable to do that effectively. It’s sad what a whole host of idiots are doing to this country.
He could have worded that a little differently...
Comrade Juan McNuts has been busy this week setting (read lowering) salaries, profits and energy consumption, and raising taxes.
So why doesn’t he just set gas prices too?
Why is Juan perfectly capable of forcing the economy to his whim in some areas but not for gas?
Is Juan just plain Nuts?
Is Juan just plain Nuts?
That’s why he is also known as McQueeg
Instead of running for President why don't you get your heiress wife to buy up some Mobil stock and run for CEO!!! I HAVE HAD IT WITH HIM. I AM SKIPPING THE PRES VOTE THIS NOVEMBER. Let Obama win and when he sends the country into the tank we might get a real conservative in 2012.
We got McCain, the most ineffective man to get anything across to anyone. And he is a chickensh*t too. Won’t say anything negative about Obama, blah blah blah.
Unfortunately, John McCain is the John McCain that I’ve known.
Beat me to it...
