Applause erupted, the crowd parted and then... there he was.
Scott McClellan strode into the bookstore wearing khaki pants and a light-blue buttoned-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up. There was standing room only-- almost everyone had arrived early to hear his insider's view on the workings of Washington.
McClellan, the president's former spokesman, spoke last night in his first in-store appearance about his new tell-all book, "What Happened."
The book has drawn considerable interest - McClellan says the Bush administration misled the public into war by grossly overstating the threat of Iraq. His book also reveals his personal account of the administration's leak of CIA agent Valerie Plame's identity and his involvement in the ensuing campaign to cover up how it happened. (McClellan will testify about the leak next week before a House committee).

Forever known as a POS.
This panty-waiste twit could'nt share a bowl of soup. "Blame" infers responsibility and the only thing he was responsible for (and probably couldn't handle properly) was the zipper on the front of his pants.
Scottie, those of us who actually can rub two thoughts together know you were not in any position to know the things you claim to know. You were a deputy press secretary for DOMESTIC ISSUES when all this was going on.
CLINTON: Good evening.
Earlier today, I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces. Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors.
The hard fact is that so long as Saddam remains in power, he threatens the well-being of his people, the peace of his region, the security of the world.
The best way to end that threat once and for all is with a new Iraqi government -- a government ready to live in peace with its neighbors, a government that respects the rights of its people.

Bush’s fault—for picking this potato head.
Why does the "reporterette" think this to be relevant to the story?Khaki pants and blue shirt!!! Every third Western male is probably clothed that way.
Not our side and surely not the other side.
When you can't be trusted your only recourse is Big Media.
MSNBC might need another Bush-Bashing analyst?
Does he give a behind-the-scenese look at how the Bush Administration planned 9/11?
Heck, everyone says that he was not in the inner circle even when he was press secretary.
Looks like the low-life media dirtbags are continuing to bump stories about this POS trying to keep it alive.
It’s dead. It’s been dead. Give it a rest you freaks.
Well I’m sure this guy is a hero to the Democrats and leftists.
Glad he took O.J.’s advice on what to title the book..
MSNBC might need another Bush-Bashing analyst?
How could they possibly find room for Scott?
Excellent post.
It is amazing how current RATS want everyone to forget what the Clinton Administration did. Pesky little facts just keep getting in the way.
Again, great post. Thanks.
That's because he just finished his shift at Wal-Mart.
If you wanted to make a case, you could make a case that the Clinton Administration tricked and decieved the incoming President.
Armitage was the "primary" source for Robert Novak's piece outing Plame. Armitage allegedly mentioned Ms. Wilson's CIA role to Novak in a July 8, 2003 interview after learning about her status from a State Department memo which made no reference to her undercover status.
Armitage had also told Bob Woodward of Plame's identity in June 2003, and that special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald investigated Armitage's role "aggressively", but did not charge Armitage with a crime because he "found no evidence that Armitage knew of Plame's covert CIA status when he talked to Novak and Woodward".
