Fox Will Try Out Conservative Host Laura Ingraham

The Fox News Channel, which has been seeking a new format for the 5 p.m. hour, will place a rotating series of personalities in the time slot beginning next week, including the conservative radio host Laura Ingraham. Ms. Ingraham, one of the country’s most popular radio hosts, frequently fills in for Bill O’Reilly, and Fox executives appear to be grooming her as a new talent for the network. Other people will also receive trial runs in the time slot.

Megan Kelly

You have obviously never seen Megan in action and are merely juduging the book by the cover. Try actually watching her on Greta's show.

I was hoping Gibson would be coming back after the nominating hoopla had finished. I guess not. What did I miss?

I miss John Gibson. Was never crazy about Heather Nauert’s Valley Girl speech patterns.

John Gibson & Laura Ingraham would be a great team. A twofer, sober and sharp.

I have to disagree with your critiques.

One Hannity is enough.

Megan Kelley is a bright, sharp attorney - certainly not a bimbo and she asks hard hitting questions with follow up.

Bill Hemmer is a terrific TV personality, smart interviewer & nice guy.

When Greta Van Susteren is good - she’s very, very good - especially on crime & investigation stories....shame they are never solved for years...but she’s not the FBI or local Law Enforcement.

I want a conservative man with a deep voice. I’m tired of women with shiny lips and shrill voices.

If they are only going to discuss the latest dead/raped/missing pretty girl, then I don’t care who they get.

O’Reilly drools over her every day. Why do you think he asks her to breakdown all important issues for us? Her background in those fields, her knowledge, and her humor and speaking style?

She just repeat the basics of what every one else is talking about.

I have yet to see even single unique insight of perspective.

She is eye candy and and God Bless her for that.

She also has plenty of vanity......I guess when you are that hot, that’s to be expected.

re: As of now she is neither Bimobish and dumb enough like Megan Kelly)))

Really? She's blonde and maybe shouldn't flash so much skin--but she has a hairtrigger delivery--I've never seen someone faster on the uptake and quicker with a response. Not dumb at all.

All of them seemed to be churned out of the same mold, boring: instead put on Christopher Hitchens and Camille Paglia, intellectual wit and sarcasm perfect combination, no churned out cookie cutters there./Just Asking - seoul62........

I agree with you.I rather enjoy her when she is a guest on a show..but I can’t listen to her raido show and she wears on me when she guest hosts..in small doses she is good and I agree with most of her positions. I would hate to see her given a slot only to fail in it.
