Terror: Venezuela's Hugo Chavez won plaudits Sunday for urging Colombia's FARC to disarm. Sounds good, but not so fast. He was caught a day earlier aiding FARC and has explaining to do. Judge him by his deeds.
"Guerrilla wars have become history in Latin America," he said on his Alo Presidente weekly variety show.
It caught many by surprise. After all, in the past year, the Venezuelan dictator made no secret of championing these drug-dealing Marxist guerrillas who have terrorized Colombia since 1966.
In March, Chavez publicly mourned the Colombian army's rubout of FARC warlord Raul Reyes in a raid, calling him "a great revolutionary." He even declared a national moment of silence.
He called for FARC's legitimization as a fighting force equal in status to Colombia's. He declared Venezuela's western border a FARC border, not a Colombian one, and urged Europe to remove FARC from international terrorist lists.

Great post.
Thanks Kaslin.
Now I know.
Even for dictator standards, Hugo is one UGLY guy.
You’re welcome. BTW I heard FOX News report earlier that he gave up having the people spy on their neighbors
No more spying on neighbors?
That sure is quick....hmmm...
