Here's an odd Obama controversy I hadn't yet heard about. Apparently, the Lamb of Chicago has not released his Hawaii birth certificate despite several media requests. Jim Geraghty thinks it would end several persistent rumors concerning his birth.
Although Geraghty makes some good points, Exurban League's research interns have uncovered several reasons Obama is keeping it under wraps.

10. Despite the claims of his supporters, it was not technically a virgin birth.
9. Full name is Ayatollah Mubarack Hussein Obama-Khomeni bin Laden.
8. Actual birth date would reveal he's a Virgo, and those people are %#&*@! CRAZY.
7. Accidentally shredded it while going through his Rezko mortgage records.

I’ll be the 1st to admit I’m confused but what if he was born in Kenya. Or if not, that perhaps it shows he is of Arab decent. It just has me really curious and I wish a smarter person than myself would do a vanity post to pose the question about his birth certificate.
The better question might be where are the marriage papers.

As far as I understand, if he’s born on US soil, he’s a citizen.
I’ve never seen religion listed on one.
He was born in 1961, Hawaii was a state in 1959.
I have read that his full birth name was Baraka Hussein Muhammed Obama. I don’t know whether that is the case or not.
Also, It is questionable whether his parents were legitimately married. He “married” Barry’s mother without mentioning to her that he already had a wife. I’m not sure if that makes her a second wife in a Muslim harem, if she did not have a Muslim marriage or if she didn’t know about the first wife.
Finally, we only have his word for it that he was born in Hawaii. Probably he was, but he is a serial liar about such matters. He might have been born in Kenya. Who knows?
Except the marriage papers don't show children of the couple, generally. But divorce papers do.
Why would he lie about that?
I mean he lies about other things, but why about his age?

That could be true. It would depend on what the law/tradition was in Hawaii in 1961. If they defaulted to the mother’s race or his mother CHOSE to put white...
Well, it is not certain that they were legally married. Barry’s father might have been married to someone else at the time.

Reason I checked is Zaba is often a way to see if celebrities might be lying about their ages. It’s not always accurate, of course...

I don't know where the developer of this genealogy got his information, though. I'm going to go see if Hawaii at least has indexes online for vital statistic information.

Was Obama’s mother still a student when he was born and was she on any sort of grant or scholarship? Would there be any information on those grant or scholarship papers that would indicate she gave birth?
