Presidential election mostly will be about Obama

The presidential election will be about many things. Mostly, it will be about Barack Obama.

Millions of Americans are ready for change. But many aren't comfortable with the man who's calling for it, at least not yet.

Obama's ability to reach a comfort threshold with large numbers of those voters - backers of the defeated Hillary Rodham Clinton among them - will have a huge impact on whether he defeats Republican John McCain in November.

Both candidates know this full well.

I agree with you on everything except one thing: I think Obama is using Soros, rather than vice versa.

We are all underestimating Obama’s will to power and his essentially ruthless nature. He displayed this in his first political campaign, when he managed to have all his opponents disqualified just before the election. He has never had any experience or qualifications for anything; but he has a sociopathic personality, which means that his personal desires are his primary concern and he will stop at nothing to attain them.

Obama is a rabble rouser with no identifiable platform and no track record, and it is easy to write him off. But he is also an incredibly crafty non-holds-barred politician. He probably agrees with most of Soros’ ideas, and if there are any he doesn’t agree with, he’s being very careful not to say anything right now because he needs Soros’ money and connections.

In case you haven’t gathered, the guy creeps me out. I don’t think we’ve ever had that type of person get this far in our political process, and we’re not prepared for it. This could easily be the end of our country.

Can she wrap ...

I am truly in fear for the Dem Convention in Denver. I don't believe her and Bill and their cohorts will "go silently into the night". I think her "followers" would disrupt their own Convention. As for what her and Bill have planned and can do is any body's guess. With all her followers, could she bolt and start a new party of "Independent Democrats"? Possibly. Could she have something to embarrass Obama so bad he would quit? As the old saying goes "It ain't over till the fat lady sings", and I don't think there has been any sining yet. No 'Kumbaya' around the camp fire anyway.

I think we have some interesting months ahead over the summer.

Too bad Hillary won’t be VP. Can you IMAGINE the fights between her and Michelle? Michelle strikes me as a tough ass cookie, and I think she can take Hillary, but boy, wouldn’t the whitehouse be like the WWF.

Well, now that you ask...I do have an American Idol analogy regarding the elections. Think Season 7 where the judges (Drive-Bys) week after week pushed Little David (wonder boy Barry) on us as the best and the most brilliant. The kid could do no wrong. But in the end America voted in record numbers for the other David (McCain). Sorry, Barry...you lose!

Well, I can see his point. I am a sucker for clever advertising and slick packaging normally, BUT I take politics seriously. So, I would never fall for a candidate just because of the way they are portrayed in the media, but we all know there are tons of people who do not take politics as seriously as FReepers. The good news is, most of these young people who are signing up to vote Obama will never actually go to the polls and vote.

I have to go watch, “Too Ugly To Live” on BBC America now (see, there I am getting sucked into a clever advertising!).

The premise of the article is basically correct. The election is indeed going to be a simple up-or-down vote on Obama. Very few folks truly love McCain or think that his positions are great or even really care what his positions are. McCain is simply “not Obama.” Perhaps McCain should ask that he be listed on the ballot as “John ‘Not Obama’ McCain.”

It’s a documentary about people who think they are really ugly. None of them are nearly as ugly as I thought they would be. They are all just regular looking. False advertising!

The hypocrisy continues.....” I love this country “.
He must have said it twenty times this week. If he truly
does, why would he want so much change?

It’s a documentary about people who think they are really ugly.

Only in Britian could they actually create a show about people thinking they're really ugly and have it become a big hit! It's really called...Too Ugly To Live?

The title alone makes it worthy enough for me to watch!

They have the best weird documentaries. They had one over the winter called, “Love Me, Love My Doll” about people who had those Real Dolls (google it if you are unfamiliar). It was the best.

In case you haven’t gathered, the guy creeps me out.>>>>>>>>>>

I have been creeped out for months, since last fall in 2007, when I say what he was up to in Africa with cousin Odinga, who was being handled by Dick Morris advice, and Obama's urging to use American black power political techniques.

Result , hndrfeds dies and tens of thousands displaced from homes. In one instance 70 people , mostly kids and old folks, were burned alive inside a church by Odinga supporters.

Obama is indeed a sociopath, as you say. His little experiment in Kenya is a preview for America, but no one writes about it.

As a sociopath, Obama is a natural fascist and will ram his version of Utopian down the throats of Americans using totalitarian methods, and it will be politically incorrect to criticise him, as it is now.

THe ingrediants that creep us out are exactly those of 1938 historically speaking, as in Germany.

Things are about to get very, very bad in America, once the Obama emotion of supporters in unleashed upon our country. And the DNC didn't want that to happen at Denver ( thus the deal with Hillery), they want it later, AFTER the election.

Of course , WE want it to happen in Denver, so the nation can see the ugly face of fascism, undecorated by the MSM.

The thing about fascism is that it cannot stand ridicule. I will ridicule every Obama supporter I can, starting soon, very soon.

The anti-fascist lessons of our fore fathers need to be dusted off and used.

Sociopaths came to national power all over Europe in the late 1930s.And in Japan.Franco lasted until well after WWII. He was the last.

Now it may be our turn.

The deal with Hillery has been cut. She knows what she gets if Obama wins, and she knows what she gets if Obama loses. Her silence and good behavior at the convention has been bought, but not paid for yet, so she holds them over her barrel.

The Dems do not want us to see the unleashing of the emotions ( the fuel of fascist movements)of Obama suporters until after the election, when they impliment their fascist "Hope and Change" agenda. The DNC does not want the nation to see it before the election, or they will lose. Americans do not vote for fascists, but the MSM is hiding it.

Essentially, the Dem party is now controlled by fascists.Obama, the messianic Obama, will be America's first truly fascist president, if he wins or if someone does not do the Bobby Kennedy, as Hillery hinted, on him.

John McCain MUST know ALL this, if he does not, we are lost.
