Like a plague, murder by knife has taken London by storm. Gang members have said that killing someone is like a status symbol. It's in fashion. Taking little to no provocation this so called fashion of knife murders gives no warning.

People were stabbed injured or stabbed to death right and left in a generally peaceful area of Tokyo, right on live TV in some cases. This will no doubt make big news worldwide in a little bit. It certainly is earth shattering here today in Tokyo.
Oh my gosh..I am so very sorry that that has happened. What is going on? I mean it’s always been thought that America was the wild west and committed meaningless murders constantly.
Now, it’s so wide spread and every country is getting a taste of senseless murders.
The world must be getting ready for the end.
Or maybe news distribution has gotten so globalized that the common human condition of seemingly meaningless violence no longer appears to be centered solely in the what used to be the most publicized nation in the world.
Well, we're still the most publicized nation in the world, but at least now we can learn how we don't face abject human stupidity, violence, and incompetence alone, and that much of the world is actually worse off than we are almost all counts... assuming someone could ever manage to go off to third world, war torn, poverty stricken regions to collect meaningful statistics... With the lack of real data from places that are worse off, a trend toward gang related knife killings in London may look like a tragedy, but compared to those other countries, it is a drop in the bucket of the daily human tragedies that we inflict upon ourselves.
Of course, now we should ban "assault knives" because those things are only good for turning people into homicidal maniacs.

Yes when gang members see killing someone as a “status symbol” and “in fashion”, no laws will prevent them from carrying that out, whether by gun, knife, bat or car. IMHO, once a group or an individual sees random killing as “in fashion”, it is time for that group or individual to die. Don’t blame kitchen knives. Arrest the defective people and deport them or kill them. Then all the normal people can safely cut onions in peace again.
This is all happening due to the divisive policies and the ham handed cowboy foreign policy of the Bush Administration.
Their is a zero recidivism rate among dead murderers.

On Saturday an anti violence rally was held. Mark Prince spoke to the thousands that attended. He spoke of forgiveness for the person who stabbed his son Kiyan, 15, to death. Anti gun campaigner Pat Regan was suppose to address the rally. She was found murdered on the floor of her flat on June 2. Stabbed by her grandson.You couldn't pack more BizarroWorld into a single short paragraph if you tried.

Indeed and supports my theory that is due to the breakdown in family and moral/religious life in England not to do per-say with guns, knives or any other weapon.Of course. It's obvious to any rational person what's going on there.
