Matthew 28:20

One morning I stood on the bluffs overlooking the coast at Camp Pendleton. I spied an amphibious naval vessel just off shore. As I stood watching, it came into full view, then disappeared as the early morning fog came and went. The ship was always there, but it was only visible part of the time.

It spoke to me of the reality of God's presence. The truth is God is always there, but our changing moods affect our ability to see. It's good days and bad days again, or would you believe, it can change moment by moment. In the times when vision is less clear, it's truly faith that helps us see and enables us to believe enough to keep trying.

So, live by faith. Trust in the Lord and keep looking ahead. God is with us in the confusion of life.

Just got back from the mercado.

Got chicken fajitas,beef fajitas,barbacoa de borrego, chorizo, charro beans, tortillas, epazote, cilantro limes jalepenos onions, salsa fresca, guacamole, tres leches cake, spanish rice.....om and on.

I should eat pretty good tis week.

Borrego is goat! Im eating that right now. Its delicious

I had some goat curry once..
It was really good!
It was a a cookout hosted by some Jamaican friends!
They also had what they called “Fish Tea”, which turned out to be a really good chowdah!

Fish tea? L0L! sounds yummy.

Im slathering that goat in cilantro onions tomato and this stuff...

Yes! Even though we haven’t had any rain to speak of.

I have one that lurks under my kitchen table and just waits
for me to sit down to the computer. My legs are eaten up
with bites...including my big toe! LOL! I have sprayed bug
spray and Off and it doesn’t matter. He just comes back for
more. Sheesh!
