UPDATE: Much like written words don't do justice to Jeremiah Wright's sermons, the video must be watched to be believed.
Pfleger is introduced as "a friend of Trinity", and then the YouTube skips ahead to one section:
I must now to address the one who says, 'don't hold me responsible for what my ancestors did.' But you have enjoyed the benefits of what your ancestors did! And unless you are ready to give up the benefits Throw away your 401 fund! [sic] Throw away your trust fund! Throw away all the money that been put away in the company you walked into 'cause your daddy and your granddaddy and your great grandaddy
(screaming at the top of his lungs)
Unless you are willing to give up the benefits, then you must be responsible for what was done in your generation! 'Cause you are the beneficiary of this insurance policy!
Words cannot describe the surreality of watching a middle-aged white man in a priest's collar appearing like he is trying to imitate Jeremiah Wright at his most outrageous.
[garbled] expose white entitlement. And supremacy, wherever it raises its head. I said before, I really don't want ot make this political, because you know I'm really very unpolitical.
When Hillary was crying, and people said that was put on, I really don't believe it was put on. I really believe that she just always thought, 'this is mine. I'm Bill's wife. I'm white, and this is mine. I just gotta get up and step into the plate.'
Then out of nowhere, 'I'm Barack Obama!'
Imitating Hillary's response, screaming at the top of his lungs again, he continues, 'Ah, damn! Where did you come from? I'm white! I'm entitled! There's a black man stealing my show!'
(mocks crying)
She wasn't the only one crying, there was a whole lot of white people crying!
I'm sorry. I don't want in any more trouble. The live-streaming just went out again."
The argument that 401(k) accounts are inherent representations of white supremacy will be news to many, many Americans.
So what is the response from Team Obama going to be? That he didn't know Pfleger was capable of this kind of rhetoric, either?

What?
Are they in a race to stupid?
Tell that to black clients of mine with half a million in their 401's...
I believe Rangel first proposed this -
a “one time, 50% tax on 401k holdings”.
He just didn’t know, okay?
This is nothing but a republican talking distraction.
Now, BELIEVE in YOUR ABILITY to bring about CHANGE!!!
The company I "walked into?" My "great granddaddy?"
All but one of my great grandparents weren't even born in the US...the other one was born in the US to an Iroquois mother and an Irish father in 1902. Nobody in my family was here before the Civil War except for the American Indian portion that makes up one-sixteenth of my family tree!
Quit yer whinin' and pony up, ya typical white person.
For many years the Dems have ogled those trillions of dollars in tax exempt funds. They see our 401k’s as nothing more than a huge pot to be tapped. And all this recent emphasis on race is going to give them the excuse they’ve been looking for.
With baby boomers now beginning to retire, “Retirement Inequality” will become the new mantra. It’s not fair that some people have 401k’s to fund their retirements. A new tax will be imposed to provide for the retirement-challenged. The sob stories will include the mandatory couple eating dogfood, the homeless (who overextended their equity line) and-—a new twist-—children having to move aging parents into their homes (gasp!).
ping
I want to hear “father” Pfleger scream to his black audience “Throw away your welfare checks! Throw away your food stamps!!”
My great-uncle joined the Union army at 16 and ended up in Andersonville prison camp. Somebody owes me!!
The real question is was Rangle going to oversee this particlar dumb you know what idea?
Where does this idea that white people are all trust fund babies come from? If they emptied out our 401k’s and gave it all to the morons who park their butts in Trinity’s pews every week, they’d blow it all and be broke again in a year. [cut to the video of the starving Hurricane Katrina survivor with the wide screen tv.]
All my great grand parents were here. But none of them owned a slave. And even if they did, none of them owned a company for me to walk into.
I think most of them were chicken thieves. The more successful stole horses.
At any event, I ain’t paying a dime.
I guess that lets me out. My ancestors were working in the potato fields of Europe up until the late 1890s, long after slavery was abolished here. They owned no slaves in Europe, although they themselves or their ancestors may have been ones (peasants to the feudal lords). Still, I suppose the Father would insist I give up all I have, since I'm white, and it's a case of guilt by race identity.
My family was here before the Revolutionary War, but we come from a long line of folks so dirt poor, we could’ve BEEN slaves! And we also came from a state that split in half because of slavery, and WE sided with the Union!
If Sen. Obama is elected, there will be no end to these sorts of outbursts from reparations advocates that you have no idea even exist today.
