Remember the campaign against smokers? It started quietly and grew to hysteria. From bans to added taxes, smokers were left to wonder what hit them. Tobacco was (and continues to be) a legal substance. Now, following the same pattern, a push has started against red meat.

Human beings refusing to eat meat is akin to a robin that refuses to consume worms.
LOL..I’m with you. As the article says..they have this timed out really well with the prices of grain and hay. The breeders are starting to get sent to the slaughter houses..that’s going to hurt in another year.
They can have my BBQ when the pull it from my cold dead hands. But, they still can’t have my beer.
Oh, no. They’re going to ban meat in public places. Guess I’ll have to order the meat from the ad on Rush’s web site.
Just for that, I’m having two steaks for dinner tonight.

I’m thinking Bobby Tall Horse...has a er’ horse in this race....so to speak.
I kinda hope they do carry forward with this. Then maybe I’ll get the “sin” taxes taken off my cigarette purchases.

I’m sorry, but cigarette smoke smells disgusting. It doesn’t even taste good. It discolors your teeth. It gives you cancer. It lingers in the furniture. It harms those around you.
Red meat, on the other hand, smells amazing, tastes amazing, and is adored by millions. Vegetarians will always be labeled freaks by meat-eatars, and for good reason: who is dumb enough to give up something so tasty?
On the other side, lean red meat is just fine for you. It’s a good source of protein, and lean beef has less fat than a turkey burger, anyway.
Nobody is touching beef any time soon. There’s not even close to enough scientific studies linking it to anything to even start down that road.
The perfect weapon against both vegans and Muslims.
