If God did not want us to eat animals, He would not have made them out of meat...or given us BBQ sauce. And what's this about "a push has started against red meat"? Why red meat? Is a chicken's life more valuable than that of a cow or something?
You know, like "they" have decreed a dolphin's life more valuable than a tuna's.
