I think the naive Obamamessiah is trying to show who's in charge now.

Can physical intimidation like that be charged as a HATE CRIME, these days?

My guess is that Obambi is desperate for solid Lieberman support and is browbeating him over disloyalty to the ‘Rat party — thought I don’t know how he’s likely to make any progress this way after all the crud that Lieberman’s been through with the hateful MoveOn left over the past few years.

It could complicate his professional relationship with the Caucus.

He's an independent thanks to the CT democrats. He can caucus with who he pleases.

I’m sure the words, “Why are you actively campaigning for my Republican opponent?” somehow worked their way into the conversation!

Actually, HRC has decided to pick Lieberman to be her VP and OBAMBI, as he is sometimes called, just caught wind of it.

Where was the messiah when Lieberman was up for re-election in 2006? My guess is he was in Ned Lamont’s corner. I’m sure Obama was somewhat angry and put out at Lieberman’s criticisms of him, and the fact that the junior senator from Illinois knows how trusted Joe is with Jewish voters.

Obama literally backed up Lieberman against the wall, leaned in very close at times, and appeared to be trying to dominate the conversation, as the two talked over each other in a few instances.

Get a tape and have every member of AIPAC get a copy so they can see how Obama really is.

Lieberman should have walked up to the Speaker and announced he was going to caucas with the Republicans.

I don’t know how Obamination could presume to browbeat Lieberman for support. Lieberman owes the Democrats nothing. Obama’s got the big head, if that’s indeed what he’s trying to do.

Yeah, he’s trying to act tough. What a disgusting stuffed shirt. This ersatz pharoah is an empty suit. There is nothing, and I mean nothing about him that I find praiseworthy. He’s where he is because of a bunch of obsequious, groveling, and geuflecting guilt-ridden white liberals and an abjectly craven, fawning press. I heard that Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann actually got into a fist fight arguing over who would get to perform Obama’s ablutions. His pampered treatment is revolting in the extreme. One last thing. There is no one on earth less qualified to be President of the U.S. than a former editor of the Harvard Law Review. Especially one who was put there on account of a bunch of loony liberal lemmings thinking it “neat.”

yawn...

this entire incident will be played as how strong of a leader and powerful and mighty Obama is....

not a word about how entitled or conceited he is....

unreal how a young twit can make so many mistakes, be so wrong, and so incompetant, but yet be a media hero...

wait.....of course he can.....he has all the same qualities as the media....

I know that stance. Clearly Lieberman owes Obama $50 from a bar tab that Barack got stuck with.

Campaign?

Probably over some serious stuff, like Obama’s “remedy” of auctioning carbon credits to prevent the sea rising.

if he continues to take a lead role in attacking Obama it could complicate his professional relationship with the Caucus

They've already thrown Joe out of their party. Pretty empty threat IMHO.

Joe knows this putz is a supporter of Muslims who want Israel destroyed and pals around with anti-Semites. And many other Jews know it too.

Lieberman probably turned B Hussein Obama down for VP. This is as far across the aisle as Obama will reach.

“McCain’s camp has also deployed Joe Lieberman to hold a conference call criticizing Obama on the same issues right after the Democratic nominee speaks to AIPAC. “

Lieberman is an INDEPENDENT.

Obama is probably skeered that Joseph Lieberman (Independent, shunned and targeted by the DNC) is considering teaming up as McCain’s running mate.

A move that would shore up McCain’s base with the liberals.

And that wouldn’t please conservatives but wouldn’t come as a shocking surprise either.
