Bush has more grace and class than Clinton.
Admittedly, that's not saying much.

I think this is absolutely appropriate.
At least he wasn't snippy about it.

Wise move. Shows class. Even though everyone knows he doesn’t mean it. Plus it will piss Hillary off, remember she says she is still in the running.

Well, Hillary sure can't congratulate him now.

Meanwhile ... those two Border Agents are STILL IN JAIL.
Bush has basically, destroyed the GOP.

Makes sense what he did. Not only was this common courtesy, but it also is another nail in the Clinton’s political coffin.

He's rubbing Bill and Hillary's nose in their mess, while appearing "above the fray."
Good move.

I think the fact that a Marxist like Obama can get this far is a BAD development for this country.
This country has been “ready” for a black president for a long time...just haven’t had any quality black candidates. Colin Powell could have won either party’s nomination.
This guy has accomplished nothing. He won half of his party’s vote.

Ok, at first glance I thought the headline was “Bush Congratulates Osamma”.

Congratulating Obama will not stop Obama for going after Bush in an international court. That is if Obama is elected.

Just political courtesy. Someone was to be nominated. He's just congratulating the now known adversary, and let the games begin.

Jeepers, reading some of the comments on this thread one thinks Bush should’ve sent Obama a horse’s head in a box.

He just said congratulations........it is what you do when you are classy. It isn’t like he is rooting for Obama.
Come on.

He's just rehearsing for November.
