I’m posting the article in full because, having seen what happened to our site, a link to his will kill his server with the flood of traffic. Until Sunday, I was operating on one server. What’s on the Michelle Obama Rant Tape? Here’s what’s known so far:
The Michelle Obama Rant Tape was filmed between June 26th - July 1st 2004 in Chicago, IL at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference at Trinity United Church: specifically the Women’s Event.
Michelle Obama appeared as a panelist alongside Mrs. Khadijah Farrakhan and Mrs. James Meeks.
Bill Clinton spoke during the Conference, as did Bill Cosby and other speakers, but not at the panel Michelle attended.
Michelle Obama spoke at the Women’s Event, but referenced Bill Clinton in her rant — his presence at the conference was the impetus for her raving, it seems.
For about 30 minutes, Michelle Obama launched into a rant about the evils of America, and how America is to blame for the problems of Africa. Michelle personally blamed President Clinton for the deaths of millions of Africans and said America is responsible for the genocide of the Tutsis and other ethnic groups. She then launched into an attack on “whitey”, and talked about solutions to black on black crime in the realm of diverting those actions onto white America. Her rant was fueled by the crowd: they reacted strongly to what she said, so she got more passionate and enraged, and that’s when she completely loses it and says things that have made the mouths drop of everyone who’s seen this.

I am not looking for a fight but let's leave poor Mary out of this.
People could forgive Mrs. McCain’s unfortunate problem of the past of battling and beating an addiction, but how could the majority of the public excuse (again, if this tape exists) a woman allegedly screaming racist rants about how awful (White) America is (when she herself has certainly NOTHING to complain about with all the perks she has gotten being the wife of a Senator) before an audience while NOT under the influence of drugs or alcohol ?
I think it’s safe to say that, before Trinity decided to hide these DVDs away, opposition research had already purchased a slew of them to go through looking for incriminating material. Isn’t that how the Wright story came out? The question then would be - would they have picked up this Rainbow/PUSH coalition DVD, or would they have skipped it not realizing its relevance?
I’m now pretty much convinced this episode took place.

Someone very close to John McCain needs to pull him aside and whisper in his ear:

I am afraid this is getting a major internet and even some press hype just to be shown to be BS when the “tape” is finally shown to leave the public with a sense that Hussein is an all right guy. Just about everything with this much pre-release hype turns out to be nothing. I suspect Hussein’s people are behind this.

Ha. Even if the Hussein campaign leaves it alone, their surrogates will be all over it. They’re street fighters. (Whereas, they dont call the GOP the “stupid party” for nothin’.)

I could be wrong, too, but I don’t think he hugged his VC contemporaries.
The tale I heard (veracity unknown) was that there was one guard who was somewhat nice to him — loosened his bonds at the beginning of his shift, and tightened them again when he went off so he wouldn’t get in trouble. Supposedly, that was the ONLY “gook” that McCain said he ever wanted to see again. But, again, the veracity of this has not been established. I do recall a mini-kerfuffle not that long ago when McCain called the VC “gooks”, the self-righteous media took him to task, and he refused to back down. Don’t have a link for that but it shouldn’t be that hard to find.

I think you’re right. Of course, if I was on my way to visit my former VC captors, hugging wouldn’t be my first choice, either. An ice pick and certain surgical operating instruments would be more my style. I hold a grudge a LONG time. :-)
Yeah, unfortunately I got my sense of cynicism at far too young an age. I was 12 when I saw behind the curtain of how the Dem machine operates and it made me sick. But damn it, why does the GOP have to stand for Gutless Old Pussies ? Stand up and fight the thieving little bastards !
Barack was in the middle of his campaign for U.S. Senator. Could Michelle be that stupid to make comments like that during an election campaign?
She gave the speech at her 'church' and may have been moved to make these statements, by the unholy spirit that dwells there.

Assuming that this alleged tape exists (frankly, it sounds like those rumors about Roswell space aliens and whatnot), it’s a MAD situation that constrains both sides.
