Hillary Clinton, projected to win South Dakota's primary but unable to keep Barack Obama from clinching the Democratic nomination, congratulated Obama tonight for the inspiring race he has run and said she was "committed to uniting our party,"
"This has been a long campaign and I will be making no decisions tonight," she said, provoking wild cheers from supporters.

Now that would be some true chaos!
Someone noted last week that she can claim the popular vote, but O’Bomba claims the delegates.
I surmise that we are likely in accord on most important things.
In my opinion, Obama as President would likely be much less damaging to OUR Constitution than either McCain or Clinton.
Even Democrats would not allow him (of their own Party) to change certain things.
Quick someone make a T-shirt -
President: Opera Tion
Vice President: Kay Oss
Do you suppose she is going to take this all the way to Denver? She thinks she is the best bet for the dems to take the WH and she will not stop..she wants the WH. To her anything else would be like going to the olympics and declaring your goal is to come in with the silver medal.
wait until Rush hear what you did...going beyond the CO’s orders...hehe. On the other hand maybe you will be promoted to assistant chief of staff.
J, I wish, but it’s not. She’s going third party, like Perot.
I don’t think she’ll stop. She thinks she’s best for the job, and thinks Obama is a disaster. Of course, Obama is a disaster. But maybe, just maybe, an avoidable one. He is being weakened, and if Hillary is unable to convince her supporters to back him he will lose for sure in November. The question becomes, will she be more powerful with a President Obama or with a President McCain? That will determine how she plays her cards from here on out.
My guess is - in short order we’ll see HER accept McCain’s invitation, intended for Obama, to go to Iraq with him. Make Obama look like the coward he is.
INDEED . . .
Though we have to be careful about rejoicing when our enemy falls.
I like to say
PRAISE GOD! BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD.
Thanks, Lord.
Your comment made me think about how her followers responded to her tonight. If it is any indication of how they all really feel. there could be a riot in reverse in Denver...this ain’t over..
According to the Houston Chronicle, that’s nothing but a hoax.
Dude, could you, like, type slower this whole mind numbing due to Rush worshipping over the past 12 years makes it hard for me to concentrate...thanks, man!
Hey! That’s my prayer too!
“I thought when the day came the last Clinton exited the national stage left I’d be ecstatic. Life takes some strange twists.”
Isn’t that the truth? You think something’s unbearable, then you find out the alternative.
From Animal House....
D-Day (Bruce McGill): War’s over, man. Wormer dropped the big one.
Bluto: (John Belushi) Over? Did you say “over”? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Otter (Tim Matheson): [whispering] Germans?
Boon (Peter Riegert): Forget it, he’s rolling.
Bluto: And it ain’t over now. ‘Cause when the goin’ gets tough... [thinks hard] the tough get goin’! Who’s with me? Let’s go!
Here’s the thing...for a “losing” candidate, she’s been winning a significant number of late primaries. Consider what the story would be if Huckabee were still winning a large number of the late primaries, even though he had no chance of taking the nomination away from McCain. The Democrats don’t know the trouble they’re in.
When Congress Commits Treason
Many others, with far less support, stayed in their races all the way to the convention, plus it will guarantee her a primetime speech in Denver. The normal way to do that is by suspending your campaign (as opposed to terminating it). She is doing something different. I think she is trying to strong-arm Obama into giving her the VP spot.
This is really entertaining :)
Do you suppose she is going to take this all the way to Denver?I think she's trolling for the VP spot.
