“We want this locked up sooner rather than later,” said Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa), who has remained undeclared.

I maybe wrong but didn't the RATS want this locked up much sooner than June 2nd?

With only 31 total pledged delegates at stake in the two states, Obama cannot win enough in the final two primaries to reach the 2,118 necessary to clinch the nomination.

I have a warm, fuzzy feeling inside that says this thing ain't over until August. Even if the Hildabeast concedes Wednesday it ain't gonna be over. Bank on it.

How awesome would it be for Hillary Clinton to win both South Dakota and Montana and then have Obama lock up a win?

Talk about stumbling to the finish line.

You got that right. Note to Obama’s pilot - preflight the plane 3x from here on out!

Absolutely.

Post of the day!

Hillary has invested millions of dollars into this, and there is no way she is going to back off after her recent and overwhelming victories.

My hunch is that she is going to temporarily suspend her campaign and save some cashola.

As August approaches, she will reveal all of Obama's dirty little secrets. Once Obama's character is totally destroyed, the Superdelegates will have no choice but to nominate her.

Better get ready for a long, hot summer of violent riots from Obama's people once this happens. Just my .02.

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) confirmed that he will endorse Obama on Tuesday.

What is with all the 'committing to commit' and 'announcing I'll announce' statements these days? Mostly Dem politcos, but some Republicans are prone to it as well.

Some day historians would say that Republican party was at brink of extinction and a Man named Obama saved it.

Damn right on the first part, I would not bet a dime on the second.

He'd be wise to stay out of propeller driven aircraft altogether...

It's a way of hedging one's bets. It _is_ annoying. The prospect of nominating Obama seems to evoke a neurotic reaction from the superdelegates.

They’ve been predicting a “quick end” to the primary since February. The dem party is a bunch of delusional morons who can’t even run their own primary, and they want us to turn our national security, healthcare, financial stability, etc. over to them.

Regardless of who people "SAY" they are going to vote for, don't the Democrats have to actually "VOTE" at the convention before the results are official? After all, some of the superdelegates have already changed their mind about this, and any future developments between now and the convention could affect the actual vote.

Unless the Democrats are going to meet in committee and decide by fiat what the actual vote will be. I wonder if Dionne Warwick is in charge of that committee.
