I agree, and at the very least, you have to wonder why they'd want to push back, if they weren't worried that a tape existed.
Let's face, with all of Obama's unsavory friends, there's bound to be some bombshells out there, in spite of all the advance scrubbing by his staff.

2 points: 1.IF she is saying “Whitey” it is explosive,
and is a pathetic example of pandering to a black audience right up there with Fr. Pfleger’s “blacker-than-even-you” pandering to the Trinity Church audience.It does make sense she would be saying “Whitey”, but I’d love to hear it. After all consider the source, AND the audience.
2.VERY good arguments could be made in defense of most of those claims, including Katrina. The major knock against the Administration was not “not helping people” but the extraordinary and predictable waste that went on afterwards. Guilt for Katrina should be 90% at the door of Ray Nagin and Kathleen Blanco, in addition to the entrenched Dem corruption of Lousiana and NOLA in particular.
For her to have even mentioned Jena is laughable, considering it is a PERFECT example of a bogus “racial incident” that was played to the hilt as if it were the incarnation of the lynching of Emmet Till a half century ago, but was instead something pretty close to the opposite. Too juicy to go into here, but all the usual suspects who used it soon fell away from it when they became aware of just how bogus it was. Even Sharpie and Jesse are smart enough to know it would embarrass them sooner or later to be associated with it.
Why’d he certainly makes more sense. I think this may be a backhanded way for GOP strategists to focus on her message though, which is pretty clever of them actually. No, she’s not saying WHITEY, but look at what she IS saying...

methinks that it is far more likely that this whole tape rumor was planted by obama’s camp to discredit us. I can see it now: “right wing goes ape over false rumors” complete with posts from us here in this forum.
