My two cents. There IS a tape with Micheel Obama decring whitey. This is pushback form Obama's camp admitting the existence of a tape but inserting "why'd he for whitey". If the GOP has the tape and I believe they do, they realize she is saying whitey. When the tape surfaces, it will sink Obama's campaign.

I would urge you (and everyone else) not to jump to any conclusions at this point. All we have right now is a great deal of speculation revolving around a few pieces of hearsay - that's pretty thin gruel upon which to nourish a news story.

My sense is that something - a tape of some sort - does exist. Exactly what is on it and what it means is not clear from the second- and third-hand whisperings making the rounds on the Internet. It might even be a clever disinformation campaign using a real source that in truth tells a different tale than the one currently being promoted. Bottom line: stay chilly on this. We'll know soon enough what the real story is all about.

Honestly, this makes more sense than her going off on “Whitey.”

She is an intelligent, college educated Marxist. It seems illogical for her to use the term “whitey.”

I hope the tape exists and is incredibly damning, but it sounds like a decoy.

A couple of points

First of all, the script is either obviously fake or she really did say “why’d he”. Jena unfolded in 2007 and even she isn’t stupid enough to say something like that while her husband is running for president.

Larry Johnson hasn’t mentioned what was said (besides whitey), so it’s possible the actual tape is older. However I find it hard to believe that Farrakhan and Michelle were somehow on the same panel in Trinity and absolutely no one has heard about it before. As far as I know, Farrakhan has never publicly appeared in the church, let alone with on a panel with Michelle. Furthermore, Chicago media has covered Farrakhan for quite a while and likely would know if such a panel ever took place. Seems to me this is a typical whisper campaign, but we’ll see.

That is what Obama’s camp would want you to believe. If the GOP has the tape and I believe they do, they scrutinized it many, many times over before showing it to other RNC big time donors. You can bank she said whitey and not why’d he. Obama’s camp would be out releasing the tape now themselves to squash this before it started. They are not. They are not answering questions about the existence of the tape. And Obama recently said his wife should be left alone by the press.

Its still just rumored to exist, but as more and more liberals start wetting their pants over the possibility that it does and not just issuing flat denials, that may in itself give some credence to the idea that it actually DOES exist, that they KNOW it exists, and that they know they’re screwed.
