WASHINGTON -- The Rev. Michael Pfleger's "I'm white! I'm entitled ... black man stealing my show" outburst about Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton from the pulpit of the Obama family church, Trinity United Church of Christ, created a political problem for likely Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama that won't disappear.
Pfleger's crusades against guns, prostitution, porn and tobacco have made good copy for years for a fairly admiring local press corps hooked on cheering for the underdog, the poor and the powerless.
Pfleger is the subject of a documentary being made by Chicago-based David Axelrod, Obama's top strategist. On Friday, Axelrod told me in an e-mail that the film project has "been dormant for much of the last two years due to other commitments."
Pfleger -- a headline-making household name in Chicago -- steps onto a national stage at a time an international press corps is making trips to Chicago to dig into Obama's life to learn more about the man who may be president.

The fact that Obama spent 20 years in a “church” based on “Black Liberation Theology” is the PROBLEM that MSM still refuses to focus upon......

Quiting the “church” doesn’t erase the theology or radicalism that is CLEARLY part of Obama DNA..

I will let others take issue with Father Michael Pfleger. At this point it matters little who the cast of characters are who spout racist, anti-Semitic hatred of America and its people. What is most disturbing is the audience reaction. I say “audience” because the people listening to these “sermons” are in no way a church congregation; they are an audience listening to a speaker they heartily agree with. They cry out, their stand up , they cheer and applaud. We have not had such enthusiasm since the Nuremburg rallies of the 1930s to similar rants by other madmen. ...
Obama is the well dressed, well spoken, clean front for the people who laugh and applaud rancid racism and bigotry and who cheer hatred of America.
Forget the speaker, look at the audience.
Since I do not live in Chicago, I have not been aware of this priest. More alarming to me is the lack of action on the part of the Cardinal. This priest is making a mockery of the Catholic religion, the priesthood and his Cardinal. While the priest may be popular in his black parish, he is not fulfilling his duty. The Cardinal needs to get a backbone and remove the priest from the parish and assign him to some administrative closet within the archdiocese where he has no contact with parishners, and is forbidden to make any public comments.
David Axelrod is the eminence grise behind Obama. Obama, the Black/White/Asian Christian/Muslim/Marxist. He is everything and he is nothing, perfect for the puppet master!
I thought the fact that Axelrod is making documentary about Pfleger was the key piece of information in the article. This is a fascinating bit of news that does not seem to have gotten much coverage.
Exactly. However, the documentary will never be shown prior to the election.
