To copy Jonah Goldberg’s book cover...
Take one smiley face,
turn it green instead of yellow,
and put a Hitler mustache on it.

“votta laugh, Newt was in congress how long? Newt was House leader how long?? Now he wants to drill when he holds no office?”
When Newt was in the House, the Republican Congress DID PASS drilling in ANWR and sent it to the President. This was 10 years ago, in 1998. CLINTON VETOED IT. They said then that ANWR would take 10 years to drill, and so it wouldnt matter.

Hillary is an idiot. So are 99.99% of Democrats on energy.
And the RINOs arent much better.
Newt is dead on target here, this is a great issue - IT SHOULD BE THE #1 ISSUE IN THIS ELECTION:
- HIGHER ENERGY PRICES AND AN ANTI-ENERGY POLICY
- LOWER ENERGY PRICES AND A PRO-ENERGY POLICY

How did they become more powerful? Because we don’t have a president with the nads to open drilling by EO. That’s how clinton closed a lot of coal production and nobody would try to override the EO in congress which was controlled by republicans. An EO to drill here, drill now would spur the oil companies to move pretty fast in getting the oil out of the ground and would psychologically ease some of the anxiety that seems to spur oil speculation.

drill now would spur the oil companies to move pretty fast in getting the oil out of the ground and would psychologically ease some of the anxiety that seems to spur oil speculation. 1. the industry is already drilling at max capacity
2. the anxiety is misplaced. Those who need crude need it because they would otherwise be out of business.
