After adjusting his immigration stance when his comprehensive immigration bill died last summer, John McCain, now with the Republican nomination in hand, has once again ruffled conservaive feathers on the immigration issue by returning to the position that almost stopped his campaign dead in its tracks. Last week McCain joined California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger in supporting a "comprehensive" immigration plan. "Sen. Kennedy and I tried very hard to get a comprehensive immigration plan through Congress. We must make it a top agenda item," McCain said. But the Arizona senator's staunch defense of such a comprehensive package at the expense of border security almost cost him the Republican nomination. The grassroots revolt was not lost on a McCain camp left practically broke, financially and politically, by the issue. But McCain's decision to reintroduce comprehensive immigration reform to the presidential debate after securing the GOP nomination has raised concerns the Arizona senator is returning to his amnesty roots. McCain is scheduled to address the annual La Raza convention in July, making him the first Republican to go. La Raza is a controversial Hispanic rights group criticized for its separationist sentiments and open border advocacy.

I don’t know who John Galt is. In what context do you see that name?
We don't want or need your vote.
We can win without you, we have illegal aliens on our side.
SI SE PUEDA !
Very telling, would you not agree?
I wish the voters of South Carolina could see their way clear to throw this rat lovin scumbag under the bus come november.
Oh yes.
Me too. I'm sure they didn't take them out in the alley and beat them but the incredible arrogance of them to keep telling them to shut up and get out. One or two of McCain's goons should have been eating their teeth for talking to that lady like that.
That is a thought I hadn't heard before. Who would do it and how is it done?
Unless something unforeseen happens at zero hour...that about sums it up...
Is he fricken senile??...I seem to remember hearing him, with my own ears, say, "I got the message" on amnesty and illegal immigration...geez... what a sad excuse for a presidential candidate...
Most here know who John Galt is. He is the hero of the book “Atlas Shurged” by Ayn Rand. The book is one of the top ten most read books in the US.
May want to read it.
No one supported him. This is a first.

Yeah, for once, they shut up — or they just stayed away. Of course, the thread wasn’t during office hours....
McCainiac is being handed the Presidency by the leftist moonbat infighting and he’s too stupid and hard-headed to recognize it by his continued conservatism bashing. Oh how I loathe that senile old idiot. Regardless of how bad it will be for us if ObamaHillary becomes president, the old fool doesn’t deserve to win.
I agree and havnt given a cent. I wish I had one of those Pesos - great message sent to McCain!

For a while, I was getting donation requests at least once each week. I kept sending them back, in their pre-paid envelope, with a message scrawled across it along the lines of “No Amnesty! No McCain!”
There was not even a slowdown in the mailings. Finally, I called their campaign headquarters and told them to take me off their mailing list. So far, no more letters....
In other words, "when you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything".
That’s my tag line!!
But McCain’s decision to reintroduce comprehensive immigration reform to the presidential debate after securing the GOP nomination has MADE IT PERFECT CLEAR HE’S A LYING POS!
Me neither. I detest him with every fiber of my being.
He's getting bankrolled by the same folks who bankroll the other candidates....the OBL, the CFR and most notably, George Soros.
There are certain areas where Blacks and Mexicans can't cross particular streets in L.A. without getting killed right now. Stay on Angeles Crest on the 14. Agua Dulce is a nice place to live too. You won't see blood on the street there either.
