Heard on FoxNews he will be making the rounds of all the left-wing television media. He will probably avoid FoxNews like the plague. I would`nt be surprised if he starts posting on the Daily Kos and Huffington Post.

My questions about McClellan concern his original hiring. In effect, why was he hired in the first place? Absolutely no one believes he was anything but incompetent as a press secretary. What did Bush see in him? Was his hiring a political payoff. From what he’s saying now it sounds like he always was at best a squishy Republican or even more like a Lincoln Chaffee-type one. In short, no conservative at all. I’m still waiting (but not holding my breath) to hear similar anti-Bush statements from Fleischer, Snow, and Perino. I doubt we’ll hear them.

Shaking my head. So was Scotty some sort of mole the whole time, or did he just leave incredibly embittered, or was it the money? Or all 3?

He's got a book to sell and the natural audience for that book watches Olberboy and Chrissy “He Gives Me Shivers” Matthews.I'll wager that Skippy's (sorry,”Scotty's) 1040 next April is gonna feature some pretty healthy figures.

At this point whether the book has truth in it or not. The fact he is going on KO and others like it shows to me that this is all not at all serious for him but all about money. I hope at the end of the day they eat him up (liberal media)Shame, Shame, Shame on him. I do not know how he will sleep.

He was an absolutely horrible press secretary. And that is a position we, the tax payers, paid for.

McClellan is hoping for the ‘Michael Moore’ effect regarding sales of the book. Millions of frothing moonbats will pull money from their retirement savings to buy the book just to be able to say they have a copy. It is also safe to say that most of them will not even open it, many will not finish it, and some will realize that it is just another mild Bush-basher.

Other good questions made here: how was this guy vetted? Was he acting all the time that he was in the administration? Did the position of the book change after Soros’ retainer check cleared? Is he doling out payback for his mother's faltering political career?

It has been my observation that Bush took the ‘let us all get along’ idea way too seriously early on. Expecting loyalty from those who are diametrically opposed to you politically and who are in a position to do political harm is naive at the kindest.

McAmnesty’s first act next January should be ‘If you were employed in DC government during the Clinton administration, get your resume updated. You got 30 days. If you were hired by someone who was employed during the Clinton administration, get your resume in order; you got 45 days.’

McClellan’s book has accomplished one thing: It finally got the Administration to respond to something.

The Admin has allowed the leftists, media, and Dems to run roughshod over them for 7 years. They have tried and tried and tried to bring the ‘new tone to Washington’ by rolling over to nearly every criticism and allegation — until McClellan’s book.

Now, the Admin has its people out on the talk shows in full spin mode. The Admin has already put out more effort to combat the allegations in McClellan’s book than they have on nearly any other issue.

You would think McClellan was a former secretary of defense or secretary of state or some other policy-making official, not just a mouthpiece between the admin and the WH press. I’m still waiting to hear how he was in a position to pass judgment on whether the Iraq war was legitimate, what Rove and Libby spoke about in private, and so forth. This is all such a lightweight matter. It’s simply about making some big bucks. McClellan’s eyes saw the dollar signs the sleazy leftwing publishers waved at him and took it. The silly, liberal sheep fall for another one.

I questioned the wisdom of hiring this little turd years ago on this forum, simply because of his wacko scumbag father. Bart McClellan was an ambulance chaser who lost his law license and then wrote vile books accusing LBJ of having murdered JFK as part of a scheme to increase profits for the oil industry (this after working for LBJ in 1964). He is certifiably insane. I have found that the apple usually doesn’t fall too far at all, as we have now seen. His father was a treacherous louse and so is Scott.
