Cody Hall was born with a hemangioma, a tumorous birthmark that distorted the shape of her face and grew larger as she got older.
When she was 1-year-old, her doctors in England told her parents that nothing could be done about her condition, so her parents took her to see surgeons in the U.S.
Fourteen years and 18 reconstructive surgeries later, most of them at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York, the girl who once had a hopelessly deformed face was flashing a beautiful smile at the prom.

Good for her mother for not accepting what Socialism was offering her poor little girl. Once again America is the land of opportunity, offering this young woman the opportunity for a normal life.

Wow! She looks terrific. I’ll bet she’s beautiful “inside” too, based upon all she’s been through. What a strong girl and dedicated family. What an inspiration. :)

Yes, there is also use for plastic surgeons beside multiple breast-jobs and botox injections for aging millionaire wives. The plastic surgeons I have known do the elective or vanity surgeries so they can take on the necessary ones at low or no cost.

The Brits pay for abortion if a disfigurement is discovered prior to birth ... bless the Lord, this beautiful girl made it before the push to avoid costly surgeries in the socialist island. [For those not familiar with this issue, cleft children are routinely aborted now in ‘England’.]

Not to be a wet blanket, but I’m wondering who payed for the 18 surgeries in the US.

Holy CATS what an improvement.
There are doctors in this nation worth every penny of the big dollars they earn. Someone with those skills thoroughly deserves whatever Bentley Continental they're driving around.

Might remain a bit disfigured on her left. But look at that smile - in both her mouth and eyes you see someone who has decided to be pretty and to work for it.

If it weren't for vanity, the surgeons might never have had the training or experience (or leisure! I won't be surprised if the docs donated their services) to work this wonder.
Show me a lawyer who can claim a medal like this one.

Good God gave this child’s mother a challenge, and she took it! She would not take “No” for an answer, and she did what she had to do for her child. God bless both of them, and the doctors who were there for them (and I don’t mean those socialist twits in the UK).
