this site is personal to me it seems no strings attached, their sponsors take care of it all. just click and you will help many worthwhile causes, like hunger, breast cancer, literacy and pets.
really, i run firefox with adblock plus and this site has given me no malware or issues/popups. it seems legit, if i can donate a can of food a day and more, i'm sure someone here can help spread the word. i appreciate it.
and i'm in no way affiliated with them or paid, this isn't spam. i'm just a news junkie with this place and there have been worse vanities. but FR place gets tons of exposure and in the end we're just helping people. if theres a hot topic there'll be 4000 hits in hours. so i am just trying to spread a good word. the link seems solid. if someone finds out this is a hoax or finds a loophole please let me know, i'll retract everything immediately but i'm not an idiot when it comes to the net and i think us clicking would help a lot. thanks .
not an ad, really... how can i personalize this to make you believe me.. well just take my word for it please, it seems as solid as a tyson knockout.
Mine stays cool too, for most of the day. Usually, around 3:00, the A/C will kick on, but by then, I’m usually ready for it.
Oh yes, looked it over most carefully. We don’t always inhabit ZOT threads, or even zot threads — in fact, some of our hosts are still with us. king anil hosted us twice.
Good morning!
Morning, all, 50F and overcast here. Just a drive-by, as I have to get LoM up in a few minutes,
If they get flowers, I think you can assume they’ll bear vegetables eventually, unless birds or bugs get them. Something is eating on my eggplant plants!
50 in June? That’s just unacceptable.
undead thread again
Afternoon! I’ve got a Severe Thunderstorm Warning, but it doesn’t appear to be nearby. I wouldn’t mind if it rained on the yard, although I’d rather it waited until I replant the cilantro. It’s not doing well in clay pots.
My 10-year-old sang with the Spanish choir this afternoon. She did very well, for someone who doesn’t speak Spanish! Several of our people are out of town this weekend - viola player called this morning and said, “I won’t be there today; I’m in New York!” Maybe she’s looking at colleges up there.
I had cilantro in clay pots last year too and it didn’t grow too good. Maybe it’s just too hot for that here. I know some Spanish, but I can’t sing so I won’t be in the choir any time soon.
My friend up the street has some in the ground, and it looks much better than mine. I think it needs more room. Cilantro likes heat, but it doesn’t like full sun; maybe I can hide it under a rose bush.
My parsley is a huge success, so you’d think I could grow cilantro!
I agree, Heat wave.
Ick. We had some 40s in Jan. and Feb., and my lips turned blue if I went outside for over a minute.
Had a little time to kill before LoM's appointment with her haircutter this afternoon (as it now costs about $1.30/trip between home and Redmond I didn't want to go home and send her back), so thought I'd stop in the library on the off chance they had a Berlin tour book. (Last times I'd checked all the system's Berlin books were out.) This time... bingo! In & back out in less than 5 minutes.
Then I'm struggling over a table the train & bus fares, which seemed really high. I flip a few pages... and out falls a Berlin AB zone ticket that gave me the price. The book had some typos -- if you struck the "1" that followed the Euro symbol, the rates looked reasonable. (Book said EU12.10, ticket was 2.10).
I think we saw some 40s in February -- but this is a little chilly for this time of year. (We actually some some 80s a few weeks ago.)
Hm. Checked Berlin, the heat wave is the day before I arrive. A comfortable 60F - 80F range, if it's not too humid.
Sounds good, now just need to brush up on your German.
Didn’t you ever learn that starvation is natural population control.
Ja, Ich muss mehr Deutsch lernen.
Like that for me.
