DID someone say road trip?
Republican presidential nominee-in-waiting John McCain has offered to take his likely Democractic counterpart Barack Obama to Iraq to "educate him" on the real situation there.
Senator McCain has said Senator Obama has not been to Iraq in more than two years, since before the so-called troops surge announced by President George W. Bush at the start of 2007.
He has said the country has been transformed since then and Senator Obama cannot have a credible policy on Iraq unless he returns there to see the improvements in security.
"Look at what happened in the last two years since Senator Obama visited and declared the war lost," Senator McCain has told the Associated Press. "He really has no experience or knowledge or judgment about the issue of Iraq and he has wanted to surrender for a long time."
"If there was any other issue before the American people, and you hadn't had anything to do with it in a couple of years, I think the American people would judge that very harshly."

Obama is a wuss. While Clinton was the first black President, Obama has the chance to become the first *female* President.
Way to break barriers!
Some of his old friends might not be around.
McCain, please pick your VP mate so I can decide whether or not I can vote for you.
“He really has no experience or knowledge or judgment about the issue of Iraq and he has wanted to surrender for a long time.”
And Hillary is watching “ Weekend at Bernie’s”
BUMP
Ain't that just like a senator...they're all sellouts. Still in denial one of these three minions is going to be the leader of the free world.
Good news is it might be another 48 years before the next one fools the morons that vote for same morons.
Not a McCain fan here...
but what a great idea for someone whose policy (Obama's) is unilateral SURRENDER in Iraq!
McCain knocked this one OUT OF THE PARK!! Way to go, John!!!!
Salute to John McCain for this one.
Obama should go. He could get a start on practicing talking to his enemies: The Iraqi people.
Not a huge McCain fan myself, but I see a Reagan/Mondale type woodshed beating as far as the debates go.
He could have talks with those that support him over there,,,,
Al Queda and THE INSURGENTS!!!!
McCain is a wit! Obama will be putty in his hands.
On the local news tonight they showed John Mc. and Obama speaking at different venues in New Mexico.
Yes, I am partial to McCain.
But what a contrast.
McCain was statesmanlike, spoke with dignity and forcefulness, discussed his family’s military history, paid tribute to his fellow veterans.
Obama talked about how his Grandpa marched with Patton, and his Grandma built boats, and he has two little girls, and listed all the things he couldn’t know about: serving, working for defense, losing a loved one in battle.
Night and day.
why would his VP make a difference. What good Did Chaney do for Bush? I hope Mcstain pics a rino.
I think it would be foolish for Obama to go to Iraq, hillary already hinted about assissinations lol.
Actually he should go, I’d like to hear the boos. I attended a Myspace Concert at Kuwait, they played a taped message from Hillary, everyone got kinda quiet a few people yelled bullspit(me) but when they played Obama’s message there was lots of booing.
I wouldn’t get on a plane with Barry for a million dollars. Hitlery is wanting the nomination too bad.
Can you say Ron Brown, I knew you could.
Obama should go to Iraq but will probably stick to the quagmire story that the Dems are selling. What would really be interesting is if Hillary went and finally told the truth. She would be condemned by the MSM but she is anyway... at least she would have real ammo against her foes. And it beats sucking up to the left’s party line which didn’t do anything for her.
McCain: Ok I Get Him To Go To Iraq, What Then?
Hillary: Leave The Rest To Me.
McCain - Hillary: Hee Hee Hee
