WASHINGTON - Senator John McCains presidential campaign is in a troubled stretch, hindered by resignations of staff members, a lagging effort to build a national campaign organization and questions over whether he has taken full advantage of Democratic turmoil to present a case for his candidacy, Republicans say.
In interviews, some party leaders said they were worried about signs of disorder in his campaign, and if the focus in the last several weeks on the prominent role of lobbyists in Mr. McCains inner circle might undercut the heart of his general election message: that he is a reformer taking on special interests in Washington.

Seems like only yesterday the Washington Post was telling me that GOP Congressmen saw McCain as their "salvation."
What a minute.
It was yesterday!

Well, if it is in the Old Grey Lady, it must be true.

In interviews, some party leaders said they were worried about signs of disorder in his campaign, SOP for the MSM and the New York Times. Find "party leaders" who are willing to dump on GOP candidates and quote them anonymously -- so as to mislead and demoralize the right.
They're very good at this.
The best thing to do is accept these stories with the same skepticism you apply to their stories from Iraq.

If that is the McCain message, "I, Barak Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear to ...."

I’ve already resigned myself to the fact of that utterance next January 20th.

Today Rasmussen has McCain by 2 over Osama. On a holiday weekend. With gasoline at $4/gallon.

McCain has the personality of a stump. They should be worried. I will gladly take another 4 years of President Bush. When elected Republicans believe the left wing press and run to the left to stay in office its already too late. They have moved left of their base.

Why don't you guys have independent critical thinking? Who cares about the opinion of Politico and the New York Times columnists? They are not citing sources other than anonymous, anyway. Each of you should make up your mind on whether or not McCain will win the elections, and by what margin.

I was just telling my husband tonight that this is the first election since I started voting 40 years ago, that I don’t even care if I vote.

Pennsylvania: Obama 45% McCain 43%
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in Pennsylvania finds Barack Obama attracting 45% of the vote while John McCain earns 43%. See video.
Clinton beat Obama by 10% in PA primary.
Now, Obama is edging ahead of McCain.
That does not bode well for the Republicans.
McCain only won 73% of the Republicans, and he is the presumptive nominee. 27% were sending a message to McCain and the RNC.

Kleebo says: “Why don't you guys have independent critical thinking? Who cares about the opinion of Politico and the New York Times columnists?”
Roughly 60% of voters get ALL their political information from Leftside MSM sources.
That's why I care what Politico and the Times say.
