NASHVILLE (AP) -- Presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain will speak at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville in June.

Spokesman Jeff Sadosky said McCain will be joined at the townhall style meeting on June 2 by former Tennessee Senators Fred Thompson and Bill Frist.

The event is free and open to the public.

McCain campaigned in the state earlier this year. He was beat by former Republican nominee Mike Huckabee on Super Tuesday voting in Tennessee in February.

McCain could invite Al Gore to visit his home state and endorse McCain’s position on Glo-bull Warming.

How are things up there? We'll be back in Tennessee for vacation this June. Guess I can't ask about the weather, we'll be on the East side in the mountains. Can't wait!

I gave Fred time and he’s ended up a suck-up. I want a refund.

"I gave Fred time and he’s ended up a suck-up. I want a refund."

I raised $40,000 for Fred and I'd do it again, tomorrow. Is it "sucking-up" to get behind John McCain versus a proto-communist, black separatist racist, appeasing neophyte candidate? If so, I guess I plead guilty, because the thought of four years of Barack Hussein Obama in the White House is too much to bear! I lived through Jimmy Carter, and I never want to see that kind of chaos, incompetence and outright anti-Americanism again! Do you?!

I don't know where to say "yes or No". So I'll give it to you this way,
Fred was supposed to be conservative with principles.
McCain is a LIAR about his conservatism, period....

Fred supporting McCain is a poke in my eye, and I dislike being poked in the eye.

I'm not falling for false political BS rhetoric. Lieberman isn't an (C) either btw,
no matter how much Hannity sucks up to him.

Get my point>?

Why is McCain bothering to campaign in a state he’ll win by double digits? Fundraise I can see, but campaign? That’s wasting precious time.

I don’t get his strategy at all. Waste time and money trying to woo greenies in deep blue states who will never vote for him, and then waste time in deep red states that will vote for him regardless.

Hint: Battleground states, McCain, are called that for a reason. Go fight in them, or lose.

End your suffering, Bert. Go wash the car or call Ernie and go fishing.

I am not going to allow McCain to ruin a lovely day.
