That’s how it often is with alcoholics, tho. The alcoholic is a fun guy (except to the spouse, of course) and the life of the party (oval office). The spouse is driven to distraction by the alcoholic, all her control-freak tendencies are exacerbated, AND she is, of course, on the receiving end of his shenanigans. It is not healthy for either party.

Someone is going to have explain to me what is wrong with Hillary’s comments about RFK. She is merely pointing out that RFK was still campaigning in June when he was shot

Context and timing. Hillary wasn't desparate in March, or at least not like she is now. The remark implies, even if inadvertently, that one pathway for her to get the dem nod is for bambi to be assassinated. Add to that the Clinton reputation and voila, you have kennedygate.

She sure acts like a dumb@ss even though she’s “The Smartest Woman in the World.” *Rolleyes*

I want her defeat to be public, humiliating and COMPLETE.

100% right. But there you go, making sense to the comment. :)
I am dismayed on a daily basis at the utter lack of intellect that is so common here these days.

And Bobby was larger than life to me at that tender age.
Not a democrat these days that is worth his spit.

Does anybody really think that Hillary Clinton says this to an editorial board without deliberately planning on it ahead of time? NOT.

This was a not-so-subtle hint to Obama in an effort to intimidate him into a deal for her to be on the ticket, IMHO.

It’s useful to recall the sequence of events in 1968. Gene McCarthy challenged LBJ (who at that point was still expected to run for his second full term) in New Hampshire, and had such a good showing (while still coming in second), that Johnson announced he wasn’t running anymore. At that point, RFK, who’d been sitting on the fence playing hard to get, announced HIS candidacy, pissing off the McCarthy partisans who saw this, rightly, as grossly opportunistic. After MLK’s assassination, RFK got a boost from the way he defused a riot in, I think, Detroit with a powerful speech, and won a bunch of primaries culminating in the California win, after which he announced “now it’s on to the convention in Chicago and the White House.” Then Bobby got shot in that kitchen, and Hubert Humphrey became the nominee, and we know the rest. But the point is that Bobby got into the race late, and Johnson was out of it altogether, which is why it had to go to June to be decided.

If I am jumping a Hillary, then her last name better be Duff.

Those were my thoughts too. Campaigns used to go on through the summer. The candidate was chosen at the convention.

“He had actually wrapped up the nomination earlier in the day.”

Thanks for reminding me. RFK had just wrapped it up in the California primary. The Dems then nominated Humphrey, not McCarthy, who had been in second place. So Hillary's brazen analogy is wrong on that count also.

Assassinations are not fair game in politics. It's a stupid statement from a hideously stupid and callous woman, but the good thing is, she gets full credit for it. Bill didn't say it.

But the media will sweep this one away in a second. When I sign on my web servers, they greet me with news and this ain't it. But earlier today I saw John Hagee and what a wonderful prez Chelsea would be as my “news.”

The media loves her, but she is really making it hard for them.

I respectively disagree. The nomination was far from being settled. RFK allegedly told someone the night that he was shot that he was going to follow Hubert Humphrey's ass into every precinct in America in order to convince the uncommitted Democratic delegates to vote for him at the Chicago convention.

Anyway, I seem to me they only person who thinks this way so I'm not going to press the point. I'm not going to interrupt the Democrats when they are fighting among themselves.

The Drudge Report, which seems to be a head cheerleader of the Obama media is having an orgasm today over the comment.
No surprise Drudge has not reported any Obama gaffes in months .

Not me,

I would be begging for someone as patriotic and conservative as Hillary, compared to Obama as president,

the thought of Obama as president is absolutely horrifying, the thought of Hillary or McCain as president is merely annoying

It hurts me to post this.

One controversial astrologer has posted a disastrous end to Obama’s candidacy. I am praying that he is dead wrong on this, for obvious reasons.

But, for those of you who follow this kind of stuff, here is the link. Given Hillary’s comments today, some might want to put another layer of tin-foil on the colander hats.

I've seen this picture many times and I've seen it used to illustrate that Vince couldn't have killed himself with this orientation of his hand on the pistol. Also, I've heard some argue that it is almost impossible for someone to shoot themselves between the eyes (or thereabouts) with a pistol because it is an awkward maneuver with a pistol. Actually, it is extremely difficult to point a gun held 'normally' towards your forehead.

Actually, the thumb as a trigger finger with the hand virtually at a right angle to the gun is the optimum shooting position to plant one between the peepers...... I demonstrated this to my daugher (with an empty pistol) because she asked me about it once.

It more like the OBama media which has been very openly trying to destroy her and protest him from his own comments and belief by not reporting his non stop gaffes. Take a look at one of the newest Obama whores , The Drudge Report.

“Obama better watch out she’ll do it.”

I've been saying that for over a year. That's why it would be absolute insanity for Obama to choose her for a VP; his days would be short indeed!

I would think there are a lot more people, with a lot more at stake than Hillary, who would like to get this Hussein in the crosshairs, and they are not all from the USA
