Me neither. I'm not gonna become a political Battered Woman. The old adage applies here: "If you like what you have been getting, keep doing what you have been doing." No more "Lesser of evils" for me.
Not everyone on this forum will vote for Mccain. It is going to be a record year for write-ins amongst conservatives.
Said it before in another thread:
A Gore presidency worried me, thankfully Bush won.
A Kerry presidency worried me, thankfully Bush won.
Even a Hillary Clinton presidency worried me, but thankfully she didn’t get the nomination.
I was just worried.
An Obama presidency outright plum scares the living bat crap out of me. I’ve got to vote for the turncoat rino.
None of the above, Sir.
Oh yea and welcome back
That about sizes it up, Sarge.
Alaska is going Red
Illinois will go Blue
Unless somthing changes in November, we are both F>>>ed
But, VOTE for someone or write them in.
Down ticket I'm in Comrade Stark's 13th District and the Republicans will probably run George Bruno again for the sacrificial slaughter.
At the top of the ticket I doubt my vote will make a difference here in California.
I haven't decided yet. I might write in Duncan Hunter I might go a day without eating so I don't barf if I pull the McJerk lever.
What a lousy year.
Prayers always Jim.
The war will be won, the judges won't be uber-communists, he is not part of the death culture, and he'll likely try better than most to curb spending. I wish there were more good things to report.......
I still agree with Thomas Sowell......only Hillary or Obama will finally convince me to vote for John McCain.
And along with your question: Which one has actually suffered for this country? Which one has endured physical torture to keep his oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic?
Please, Jim, I don’t know how much more I can take. It’s a no-win situation. No solution, no escape. Gah!
BTW, welcome back. Glad to hear you’re doing well!
Put me down for the RINO column. I think that barry will get me and my family all killed.
Very good point, there's always so very many more dead people with Marxists in power. I think they're like sorcerers, they just drain the life out of everything and everyone around them.
Not true. It adds nothing to the total of either. If there were 3 voters, one Obama, one Mccain and I abstained, neither would win.
I refuse to help the GOP commit suicide. They can do it on their own.
For me, it depends on who McCain chooses for VP. If he chooses Palin of Alaska, Rounds of South Dakota, or Sanford of SC, then yes I will vote for him - because there's the possibility of McCain not running for 2 terms and we would have a fresh conservative leader available in 2012.
Also McCain would have to denounce amnesty and global warming and campaign finance reform, but unfortunately I don't see it happening. I'll probably support down-ticket Republicans and leave the presidential spot blank (No I'm not writing in Paul or voting for Barr because we're winning in Iraq now).
Trying a little psychology on us, Sarge? ;-)
I'm not voting for McCain. Others make that claim as well, but I can't tell you what they will do when the time comes.
Should Obama win, I am hopeful that the republicans in congress will keep him at bay. I have no such hope with McCain.
