SECNAV Names New Guided-Missile Destroyer USS Michael Murphy

24th MEU exploits success in Garmsir2nd Lt. Peter L. Hackett, forward observer, Lance Cpl. Quentin J. Rhone, radio operator, and Cpl. Andrew S. Leroy, fire supportman, with Fire Support Team, Weapons Platoon, Charlie Company, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, NATO-International Security Assistance Force, scan the terrain to locate their next target using the new Target Location, Designation, and Hand-off System during a live-fire range in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan.
