Honor in Haditha- Lt Andrew Grayson

For over two years we have watched the false persecution of eight Marines involved in the Haditha incident. Now that five have been exonerated and had the charges dismissed, the Marine Crops says it wants the truth. Our Government has had the truth but would rather persecute innocent Marines than admit to being wrong. Our Government has chosen to continue these baseless trials to appease the media and protect its ‘shadow conspirators.’

I do not personally know Lt Andrew Grayson. Andrew is one of countless of fine young men who have stepped forward to serve our country. His honor and integrity were chiseled in stone when he refused to accept a plea bargain to gain his freedom. When the Corps speaks of honor, integrity and duty, Lt Andrew Grayson walked the walk.

On May 28, 2008 Lt Andrew Grayson will face a court martial for the engagement in Haditha. We will offer prayers and support for his exoneration on these charges. His parents, Robert and Denise, wife Suzy and family members will stand by Andrew in the courtroom while we stand vigil with prayers and best wishes.

You have such a way with words. I admire that. My heart breaks every time I think of the things all of these young men and their families have and are going through. The strength you and your family have shown is amazing. I pray everyday that this insanity will end. I recently heard of another 3/1 marine facing new charges for who knows what. I am so outraged at all of this. I wish there was something I could do to make this stop. I write my letters and we all know what good that does. I guess we can all thank a Democrat ruled congress for all of these charges cropping up. Now all of us who had children that served in Iraq have to worry whether our son will be the next to be charged with something he didn't do. As you were all going through your pain I was right there hurting with you, knowing it could be my son facing charges just because he fought in Iraq and survived.
