Finally, the morons in Massachusetts are going to have to send someone else to Washington.

They are in no danger of running out.

Once Kennedy “moves on,” the Faux Frenchman will be the senior senator from MA. Talk about jumping from the frying pan into the fire!

That’s what we said too. I’m not a Ted Kennedy fan but I hope he beats this disease. Also, why should the TV and Media blast a person’s medical situation all over the tube and radio etc? It is HIS/HER own private affair and that of their families. Personally, it is being like a cheap tabloid. If they report he has the disease that is one thing. But, why should Dr.s and other med people be coming onto these silly cable shows to discuss the disease, the outcome etc? Seems invasive, cheap, tawdry and much more just to have a story. There is no sense of decency anymore.

You may not like his politics. Neither do I.
You may not like how he lived his personal life. Neither did I.

However, as you said...we will all meet our maker one day and we will ALL have a lot to answer for. You, me, everyone. Please....have a little more compassion and say a prayer for this man who has one rough road ahead. He is a human being and one of God’s children as we all are. What he did on earth he will answer for as will the rest of us. In the meantime though...I hope you will soften your thoughts and realize this could be any one of us.

The Boston Herald ran an Editorial calling Kennedy “A Profile in Courage”. The Herald has Jumped the Shark and is now rendered useless. Boston is now a One Newspaper Town, which as was evident in his action against Rupert Murdoch was what Ted Kennedy wanted all along.

I can tell Kennedy got his MRI in the usa because if he were to get it in Canada, He would be on the list...the waiting list. Now, I wander if he will seek medical attention there, hummm

Good thinking there Lou. She jumped at the first opportunity - Sen. Moynihan’s seat...were there any House seats opening up in NY in 2000.

I expect she wanted the prestige of the Senate as a stepping stone to the Presidency - plus 6 years tenure vs. the House having to run every 2 years.

Saves money and scrutiny.

Didn’t Romney run against Kennedy for his Senate seat a few years back and almost beat him?

Is Mary Jo in hell?

No, she isn't but she might be standing at the pearly gates in order to tell Kenney he lost his right to be in heaven.

My initial thought upon the announcement of this murderer's cancer was that he was finally gonna meet up with Mary Jo - Wherever she is, I trust she'll at least wave at him as he descends past her to remind him of at least one of the things he's done to earn his final "reward"!

What a total scum-bag!

This article is a superb description of how having Kennedy out of the Senate will be a very good thing. He's an absolute genius at persuading Republicans to commit political suicide and like it.

If Ted has 6 months or less, I expect a resignation soon and Obama acolyte Deval Patrick appointing himself.

There is another Wellstone “memorial” political rally/hate fest coming up. The Dems can never be accused of having too much class to not make political hay out of the illness/death of one their own.

This picture makes me wonder if he’s very distantly related to Cindy Sheehan-the chin, the drawn-in goofy lips and all.

It’s not clear how long Sen. Edward M. Kennedy will be away from the Senate, but his absence is already having an impact on pending legislation.

I'm hoping he won't be back. If the tumor caused the seizures he had, it would be dangerous for him to risk going back to work. I hope he'll spend what time he has left with his family.

Wonder if Mary Jo Kopeckne will be waiting for him?

Not unless he repents before his death.

He ran against Teddy, but only got the typical 1/3rd of the vote that Republicans usually get in Senate or Presidential races. It hurt Romney that at some points he was trying to out liberal Teddy, on the assumption that that's what would get him elected.
