I don't think a decapitation strike is the answer - we saw how well that went in Iraq.

All-out support of Iran's opposition groups (military and political) in a concerted attempt to topple the mullahs would be my choice.

Pull a typographical map of Iran. Take a good look at all the terrain changes in the country. Think about all the time Iran has had building reenforced ground to air missile batteries and other air defense facilities.

Think about the Straits of Hormuz being blocked resulting in no tanker traffic. Think about oil at $250/bbl. Think about fuel/food riots. Think about a democrat controlled government (socialist and marxist) trying to address the economic and strategic crisis we find ourselves in.

Think about the re introduction of the draft to support a 3rd front in the WOT.

Think about war with Iran when you weigh the facts and costs.
