Prayers up for Senator Kennedy, his family and doctors.

Jesus called us to love our enemies and the prayer he gave to us also cautions us to forgive as we would wish to be forgiven.
So let us all forgive Ted Kennedy for his trespasses as we would wish to be forgiven for our trespasses and wish him well in the difficult time to come.
Thank you for posting this thread. My immediate reaction to hearing about Ted K.’s tumor was that he is
BLESSED
to have
TIME
to get right with the Lord if (???) there are things he needs to repent for and beg forgiveness for and receive forgiveness for.
ACTS 26:18 is a wonderful Bible verse that has a basic pattern that comes to mind,
18 to open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith that is in Me.’ [21st century KJV]

My prayer for Ted K.:
Heavenly Father, please reveal to Ted Kennedy that You are rich in mercy, and because of great Love with which You loved us, (even when we were dead in sin), You made us alive together with Christ, (it is by Grace we are saved).
Show Ted Kennedy now that You have raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, and in the ages to come You will show the exceeding riches of that grace in Your kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Help him to truly know that by grace we have been saved through faith, and that not of ourselves it, it is Your gift to us, not of works. No one can ever boast, we owe everything to You.
Thank You Father for loving Ted Kennedy. Increase his faith now, and pour Your mercy and grace upon him and his whole family. I ask this in the Highest Name, the Name of Jesus.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Senator Kennedy and his family.
I pray that he will beat this cancer, recover, and resign from the Senate to spend time with his family.
Mortality is the great equalizer. I pray Sen. Kennedy has accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and is ready for whatever (good or bad) his future holds.
Through God’s mercy, he had been granted time time for reflection, redemption, and even salvation, may he use it well.

May Your healing power comfort and protect Senator Kennedy and his family.

My mom died of a glioblastoma multi-forme (brain cancer). She had grand mal seizures because of it (shook a wheel locked hospital bed). Brain cancer is beyond awful its affects are swift and ravaging and seeing the affects of it last a lifetime for the surviving family. It is horrific. Prayers sent...for G-d’s blessing.

This is a devastating disease, I would not wish it on anyone for any reason. Nobody deserves to suffer like this.
