What? Of course it is a cult. I guess the British do not offer freedom of speech?
Its offered but not guaranteed.
Actually, he flattered it by using the word “cult”.
“Some crazy-@ss moonbat in-joke” would be more fitting.
[but I, for one, welcome our new Thetan lizard Over Lords]....LOL!
I shall suuuuuuuuue youuuuuuuuuuu!
How about "fruity club"?
No , they don't
You can go to prison for "hate speach" just for telling factual information about the health dangers of the gay lifestyle or even criticizing it.
It must be me, but I'm seeing the beginning of the second coming of the dark ages.
It's certain that we, the meek, will not inherit the earth, but the chains of slavery.
So, the answer, as far as freedom loving folks goes, would be to get these stupid assed laws protecting non-Christian worldviews off the books.
The temptation is to counter prosecute anyone that “insults” Christianity, but that’s not the right route to go.
I read the allegations of bribery (er, public relations) there but I wonder if this isn’t a bit of sharia coming in. If Brits allow Scientology demonstrations with “insulting” language, they might be in a position to not allow same in regard to Islam and we all know how dimly the practitioners of that faith look on any thing insulting. I can’t help believing this is a sign of creeping sharia instead of protection for Scientology.
Semantics.
I think it’s kind of funny that some people think that a man can be “married” to another man.
I think the British have now replaced the French as the most spineless country in Europe.
Sad thing is, we are heading down the same long and winding road.
Not to worry ... we'll do just fine, living in caves and eating bugs & berries. ;)
ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒE
Nice to see the brits following Orwell’s prognostications.
I agree with you. Cult, sect, denomination, etc. are precise words for religious organizations of various sizes and degrees of formal organization. Some religious organizations in any category are unsavory, but some are not. Christianity itself began as a cult. The word cult is value-neutral. Even in England there are probably judges who are familiar-enough with the English language to see that the police have erred badly in this instance. The case will be dismissed.
No sir. We are taking the US and the world back to common sense. We will vanquish this poison. If not by the word, than by the sword.
