Last Thursday, a Gigantic Illegal Alien Amnesty was attached to the War funding bill in the Senate. . .
Sellout Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Larry Craig (R-Idaho) have successfully inserted the "Ag Jobs" amnesty components into the Iraq War funding bill.
Because this amnesty is attached to a so-called "must-pass" funding bill, it will now prove very difficult to defeat.
If it passes, this bill will GIVE AN AMNESTY to about 3 MILLION Illegal Aliens agricultural workers and their families for five years (at least!)
They could vote on the spending bill today or tomorrow. If the bill passes with this language included it will grant a form of AMNESTY to millions of illegal aliens working on farms.
It would:
Grant a three-year work visa followed by a permanent greencard to all illegal aliens who have been working as shepherds, goat herders and dairy herders.
Grant a five-year work visa to the estimated 1.3 million illegal aliens working in other agricultural jobs -- plus all of their families. There is no instruction on what happens after the five years.
Grant a tripling of the maximum number of H-2B visas for lower skill, non-agricultural seasonal workers.
Grant industries an extra 218,000 additional permanent green cards for skilled foreign workers.
Friends, perhaps you are thinking what I'm thinking: Don't these Senators know that we are in an economic recession, or close to it? Don't they know that unemployment rates have been going up and that industries across the country are shedding both skilled and unskilled jobs?
You only have to meet ONE of the following three criteria to get the amnesty:
Earned $7,000 working in agriculture during the 2004-2007 period.
Or worked 863 hours in agriculture during the 2004-2007 period.
Or worked at least a little bit in agriculture on 150 different days during the 2004-2007 period.
That amounts to an average of $1,750 per year ...
... or 216 hours per year (the equivalent of 4 hours per week) ...
... or parts of 37 days per year.
DO THEY THINK THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE STUPID AND THAT WE COULD POSSIBLY ACCEPT THAT ILLEGAL ALIENS WORKING THAT LITTLE IN AGRICULTURE ARE ESSENTIAL TO THE SURVIVAL OF AGRI-BUSINESS IN AMERICA!!!!!!
The answer is that they really hope we are that stupid or just incredibly unfocused.
We must take immediate action.
1. Call Dianne Feinstein and Larry Craig and give their staff an earful within reason. Follow-up your call with an e-mail or fax.
2. Call both of your US Senators immediately. If you get a voicemail, leave a message. Tell your Senators NO AG JOBS AMNESTY! NO DEFENSE SPENDING BILL WITH AG JOBS IN IT! Make sure you call, and immediately send a written complaint after calling.
3. Then proceed to call as many other members of the US Senate as possible with the same message. Call them all if you can.
4. Email them.
5. Call the radio talk shows in your area and talk about this bill.
We need a strong and immediate reaction from across the nation to this move by Feinstein and Craig!
Diane Feinstein pulled her fast one, and the battle we didn't want is now upon is. We must respond.
We can beat this amnesty ONLY if all of you send faxes, make phone calls, send emails, and otherwise make your views known to your members.
This amendment is just another attempt by the amnesty crowd to do away with our borders. We must be strong and active to short-circuit this latest underhanded attempt to impose amnesty on us.
We beat them last year because the American people FOCUSED for a few weeks and told the U.S. Senators who is their boss. We must beat them again this year. Do not let these corrupt officials get away with this underhanded legislative trick.
When we're through contacting Congress, we should contact President Bush and ask him to veto it.
This sneaky, corrupt amnesty must be stopped. We did t before, we can do it again.
Wonder if the Craig defenders will be on this thread. I think Hillary has pictures from the FBI files
That’s another reason why 132 Republicans refused to sign the bill.

Don’t waste your time on El Jefe Presidente Bush, he will sign it GLADLY as he would have before. This is your Congress in action folks. A bunch of crooks and charlatans BUYING POWER AND CONTROL AT ANY PRICE TO AMERICA. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
I was one who said his indictment wsa improper. He didn’t go far enough to be arrested, and in any event he was on is way to Washington to perform his official duties, so it could be argued that the arrest violated the speech and debate clause.
Nonetheless, he should have resigned.
That doesn’t mean that I approve of what he is doing on this issue. He needs to be reminded that his bosses, the people, who are (in one of the best phrases Ross Perot ever uttered) “the owners of this country”, do not approve of what he is doing.
I’m still surprised that McVain isn’t co-sponsoring this travesty. And Hitlery and Osama Obama for that matter.
Conservatives should support someone who will defend our borders.
I’d suggest calling Senate Minority Leader McConnell as well.

DAMN THESE LIBERALS!!!!!!!! I just can’t believe they are still willing to override the will of the people on this issue. What will it take?
I called her state office and faxed her DC office. I do this at the minimum of once a month. I question her patriotism.
Blood from patriots and tyrants to water the Liberty Tree.
“Feinswine, the senator from Gomorrah, added this treason laced crap to a badly needed Iraq supplemental funding bill. She is a disgrace to this state and to our country.”
As a happy ex-Californian (native born, no less), I constantly marvel at the monumental ignorance, stupidity and hubris of Pelosi, Feinstein and Boxer. What a sad testimony to the California electorate.
To be more accurate, it is amnesty to guest worker, which was the Bush Plan, as opposed to amnesty onto the path, which was McCain Kennedy.
The third type of amnesty is the Pence Plan, which the Gang of 12 adopted in 2007, which is touch-back amnesty.
I’ve pretty much given up on amnesty. It won’t take McCain twelve months before he will have granted amnesty to between 20 and 35 million illegal aliens. Those who were convinced that “WE STOPPED THEM” the last time will get a full dose of reality.
With the McCain amnesty will come chain immigration as family members are allowed to join their relatives already here. By the time McCain is done, we’ll see about 25 to 30% of our current population total, added to our population all from one nation.
We ain’t seen nothin yet folks! Buckle up!
A clear majority of Americans are opposed to this legislation.

“65% disagree with granting amnesty to illegal Mexican immigrants in the U.S. (Zogby Intl., May 2002)”
Our federal taxes are taken and spent, but we are not being properly represented.
You can count on one thing. Boosh will not veto this bill!
From an email I received today:
“The vote has been pushed back and is now scheduled for Wed May 21!
This delay is to our advantage, if we use the time wisely. In the past, delays have played to our favor, because it takes us a few days to get our political machinery in full gear and the public warned into action.”

Remember, a vote for McCain is a vote for amnesty.
