Barack Obama has painted himself as someone new, as a “change” in U.S. politics, and as a Washington outsider who is uncorrupted by politicians’ ethical deficiencies, divisiveness and hypocrisy.
Yet in the period since the launch of his presidential campaign (which today is more than half as old as his entire Senate career up to that point), Obama and his wife have managed a larger magnitude of hypocrisy than a dozen Washington politicians combined. And the power couple has not even reached the general election yet.
Taxes and Riches. Michelle Obama has done her fair share of complaining about the financial difficulties she and her husband have had to endure. Discussing her household expenses, she gripes, “I know we’re spending . . . between the two kids . . . about $10,000 a year on piano and dance and sports supplements and so on and so forth.”

Seriously, though, this is an outstanding piece which raises serious questions about whether “change we can believe in” is really what we will get under an Obama presidency.
So, far, it looks all the changes will be for the worse.
Our side gets that point. Now how do we get the other side to see these two for what they are? The MSM loves them so it will be tough to get the truth out.

[Barrack Hussein Obama’s record in the Illinois senate:]
- Opposed the Defense of Marriage Act; would work to repeal it in the U.S. Senate; would not vote for any legislation that would restrict the ability of gays and lesbians to marry.
- Opposed the Born Alive Infant Protection Act four times in Illinois. A similar bill passed the U.S. Senate 98-0. The Born Alive bill would have prohibited a baby from being born alive but left to die according to the mother’s wishes. Obama inexplicably opposed this bill not once, twice, or three times, but four times.
- Obama took almost $90,000 in bundled contributions from the Council for a Livable World. The council is a well-known anti-defense organization.
- Obama puts rigid ideology before what’s best for the people of Illinois, and presumably he would do that as President as well. He has on several occasions made public his opposition to the NAFTA trade agreement and his belief that it must be negotiated. All the while thanks to NAFTA, Illinois exports $1.3 billion in agricultural goods to Canada.
- Obama refused to vote for a bill in the Illinois State Senate that would have increased penalties for drug traffickers.
- Obama voted against a bill that would have delivered the death penalty to gang members who murder first responders.
- Finally, just in case you thought it couldn’t get any worse, Obama was the only member of the Illinois State Senate to vote against a bill that prohibited early release for sexual predators.
Can’t kill the innocent fast enough, can’t free the guilty soon enough!
The change will be to Marxism, and that’s not hyperbole.
These people think they “know better” and have the right and obligation to impose this greater wisdom on the rest of us for our own good.

That Harvard education, that expensive home with Rezko addition, that $300K hospital job from someone Barack legislated for, that sure wouldn't make me proud. I think you have gotten a bum deal.
We have to teach those typical white people that they can't just drive their SUVs and eat as much as they want, or keep their thermostats on 72 degrees all the time. Someone in Somalia or Myanmar might object. You can, of course, continue to spend $10K on piano lessons all you want, because we feel this terrible white guilt.
The MSM feels their pain...they all talk about the high cost of pianos and private schools at their hoidy-toidy cocktail parties in Georgetown.
The rest of us who get it are racists, gun-toting, Bible thumpers.
