Just curious. How well do you think Obama will follow the Republican party platform?

Its not about that.

Its about McCain damaging the party by furthering the leftward push. You make it okay to be a leftist Republican by encouraging voting for leftist Republicans.

How you don’t get that is beyond me.

Now, honey why are you asking such a question?

Look, I didn’t vote for my choice, I voted for Romney to keep McCain out. I can’t believe you would even consider defending McCain. Surely you haven’t given up on this country that much. Don’t you realize your candidate was eliminated by the McCain machine? I believe we’d be better of with Obama....everyone will hate democrats when he’s done.

The difference is that with an Obama presidency, conservatives will get off their butts and fight tooth and nail, everything he does, just like Clinton.

With a McCain presidency, conservatives will take it in the shorts because they will be compelled to stay silent, lest they break the 11th Commandment, just like with Bush.

So, which do you prefer?

Given the choice, I prefer to have conservatives standing up and fighting instead of being cowed into silence by 'their' party.
