“It’s about desperate characters trying to make their way, fumbling through life while making big mistakes. And yet there’s something endearing and universal about their struggle. We’re all like that in a way. We all make mistakes.”
I bought his ‘89 LeBaron. There was a chewed pencil in the glove compartment.
Voigt would make a good Senator or Governor.

Jon Voight was at what I believe was one of Sean’s Freedom Concerts last year. He was also on the radio show. Voight left me with the impression that he puts America and his freedom way ahead of his politics.
A shame his daughter doesn’t have one tenth of his brains...
I had the pleasure of seeing him at last year's Freedom Concert. I looked over and said, "Mr. Voight" - he turned and looked at me, and then I said, "You are a good father." He beamed, looked me right in the eye and said a sincere, "Thank you."
I hope he knows in his heart of hearts...it's not him.
That was a very nice read and I’d recommend anyone read it.
BTW folks, he said he prefered Hillary over Barack, not that he wanted to vote for her. He has endorsed McCain.
I respect the guy. His visit to Israel and his honesty about the situation as it exists, is refreshing.
Kudos to him.
All is not completely lost when a Hollywood Liberal Democrat finally comes to his senses and decides that Conservative Republican ideals actually are better.
Wow! Cool!

Voight said that if he were Israeli, he would be staunchly against negotiating with Hamas, and compared the plight of Sderot to that of London in World War II... Calling himself a former liberal Democrat, Voight recently endorsed Republican Sen. John McCain in the US presidential race. He added that he would prefer Sen. Hillary Clinton over Sen. Barack Obama, citing Obama as "dangerous."
