Lets take this time to think deeply about all the positives this patriotic man did for the betterment of America..........

Agree, let's focus on the positive. He...uh...well...by annually authoring bills to ban all "armor-piercing" ammo (which of course includes all hunting ammo) he's done as much as anyone to motivate 2nd Amendment rights groups/individuals to action.

There. See, it wasn't that difficult.

What happened to my comments???

All I said was that the posters should behave themselves and not make personal attacks on the Senator.

I was trying to be helpful. My prayers are with Sen. Kennedy and his family in this difficult time.

Re. post #193, thanks for the insight. Glad you had the wisdom to leave the poor guy alone that day.

‘After he paid for the flowers and returned to his vehicle, I walked over to the vendor and asked if he knew who his customer was. He did not. I informed him about Sen. Kennedy and told him that his flowers were most likely going to be placed at his brother’s grave at Arlington National Cemetery.’

Ted Kennedy has done more damage than a hundred thousand enemies could have even hoped to have done to this Country. PO traitorous Sh*t.

Yep. And I'll be charitable and assume that his actions resulted from stupidity and a hunger for power, and not pure evil.

FROM 2003 AND 2004, ie, WARTIME, with boots on the ground.

Senator Ted Kennedy’s said that Iraq is “Bush’s Vietnam.”

“In Najaf, the militant Shiite cleric Al-Sadr echoed the refrain Iraq could become quote, ‘another Vietnam’ for America.”

Apparently nothing else is happening in the world, according to FNC. Lots of pols and has-been pols getting in their fair share of free, compassionate, air time. Looks like Drudge is right to hold fire for the time being.

Excellent food for thought. I want to hate him but I have no right. Rationalism is often abandoned when emotions well up, and I personally will try to put my opinions of his politics and personal life aside in order to wish well for him and his family.

I would rather win over the country through the spread of conservative principles rather than through anyone’s demise.

Peggybac -

Your post about your mom's cat brought tears to my eyes. My heart goes out to you and your family.

My mom was diagnosed with liver cancer at the end of 2004. She was terminal and her health failed rapidly. She didn't want to stay in the hospital, she wanted to die at home with her cats and my dad.

Hospice was brought in and a hospital bed was placed in the family room. Her cat, Thumper, left her side only to eat and use the litter box. He was with her when she passed. The poor thing was beside himself when the funeral home showed up to take mom away. We had to put him in another room until they left. Thumper slept in that bed until the medical equipment came to get the bed.

Thumper passed on less than a month later, as did the other cat AND the dog. I guess mom was lonely and decided to take her critters with her. *sigh*

They are talking about it a lot. And have at least two threads monitoring Freeper’s comments.

If this keeps up, the thread will be pulled. Capice?

Probably a good idea. Jim wouldn't appreciate some of this behavior.

It’s quite possible your comment was deleted by mistake. One of mine was yanked by accident (it said “Prayers up for Sen. Kennedy”) on the thread that got pulled. Please don’t sweat it. The mods are real busy today.

If they push the “Fairness Doctrine” they would have quite a store of “shocking” ammo if not for the mods.

Yes, was just pointing out it’s the same problem. It doesn’t
necessarily mean there will be the same result. We’ll see what happens; just pointing out it’s the same thing as before.
