as much as gasoline costs,
you’d think the average consumer would
stop watching tv for answers,
and research the reasons.
not.
Finally he's not blaming us for our "oil addicition". Of course, it's too little, too late for the republicans.
The solution lies in the transition to hydrogen and natural gas, and possibly alcohol and electric. The transition away from petroleum liquids will take 25 years, and is already underway in the fastest growing regions such as China.
You know, when I was young I used to defend the average American(or human if you will)by saying that average IQs were adequate and that they could see what all the idiots were doing. This was back in the 50s.
I had a modest IQ(still do)of 141, this is ok but hardly world shaking. I used to think people who had average IQs would get it, but when someone like pelosi can say such outrageous contradictions and not be called on it, I give up and say that people below about a 115 IQ should not be able to vote, and I am only half joking here.
Send this to everyone in your address book:
Liberal DemoRAT Energy Plan:
1. You cant drill for oil anywhere.
2. You cant build a refinery anywhere.
3. You cant build a nuclear power plant anywhere.
4. You cant burn coal for electricity.
5. You cant allow the oil companies to reinvest their profits into exploration.
6. But you can drive up the price of food by subsidizing an ethanol industry that takes land out of food production while using more energy than it creates.
7.You must continue to tax every gallon of gas that we put in our tanks.
8.You must threaten all energy users with additional carbon taxes.
9. And just in case some entrepreneur out there somewhere may have an idea for an alternative energy concept that just might work, you must raise the capital gains tax so that investors have less capital and less incentive to invest in his/her project. count your blessings.
With the coming change in administration, it| will be a wonder if the price of gasoline doesnt get to $10 per gallon.
All this and more thanks to anti-American, anti-Semitic, anti-military Liberal Radical DemoRATS.
Could the rising commodity prices have anything to do with the liquidity games that the Federal reserve have been playing? Nah, that’s nuts. Increasing the supply of money in the economy and making credit easier couldn’t possibly ever have inflationary effects. Never mind the men behind the curtain. When it comes to money, the law of supply and demand doesn’t apply. Only kooks think that.
