This whole thing smells like a last-ditch rumor campaign ginned up by the Shrillary campaign. Any video of Michelle Obama railing against The Man and denouncing America almost certainly would have come out by now. Additionally, I don’t think she’s stupid enough go in front of cameras and give some racist tirade that would give her husband’s political enemies plenty of ammo.

Mrs. McCain most certainly did steal prescriptions, she spent drugged out of her skull. The whistleblower’s name is Tom Gosinki. The McCain’s inner circle tried to destroy the guy. Was an ugly affair. I first heard about it on FR in 1999 during McCain’s primary campaign.

It is expected to include details on her relationship with her husband, as well as her past battle with an addiction to painkillers. McCain will co-author the book with USA Today veteran Beth Brophy. It is due out in September, two months before the general election.

McCain, 53 years old, keeps a relatively low profile on the campaign trail, but has been the subject of several newspaper profiles recently, including in The Wall Street Journal.

Yes, especially if Larry Johnson's blog is the only basis so far...... he is a fervent Shrillary supporter and writes attack items on Obama in the vein of "here are the nasty things that the eviiillll Republicans will say, so we'd better not nominate Obama"

I still want obama as the dem nominee. If hillary runs against McCain, they fight over the same votes (white working class, independents). To the extent blacks vote, they still vote democrat.

If Obama wins, he gets the black vote, but loses the white working class/independent.

The hillary candidacy balances out as a net vote gain.

1. If he gets the nomination, he will lose in the fall.

2. If he does not get the nomination, enough black voters will feel he was robbed and H.Clinton will not win in the fall.

To me the only issue now is could this help the GOP hold or even gain some seats in the House and Senate.

I absolutely think she's plenty stupid enough to do it--because she wouldn't think it was racist in the first place. If you listen to discussion of Jeremiah Wright among so many of his black supporters, the argument almost always drifts to justifying Wright's POV. I remember on BOR right after the first Wright clips were being shown, they had two black activist women on shrieking about how Wright was right. BOR just sat there with his chin on his hand with a little smirk, watching the women make racist fools of themselves.

What I'm curious to see is the Post-Nom Obama campaign which MUST reach out to middle-class whites.

What will the rhetoric from the race-baiters be? Will it be as self-righteous and self-pitying? How are they going to appeal to white voters unless they let go of their bitterness?
