The blowup over President Bush's remarks to Israel's parliament equating talks with rogue regimes to appeasement will be front and center another day.
Barack Obama, who saw himself as the target of Bush's criticism, is expected to directly rebut the president later today at a campaign event in South Dakota.
His top foreign policy adviser, Susan Rice, said this morning on MSNBC that Obama will deliver a "very vigorous response to what was an outrageous, unprecedented, and divisive attack from President Bush yesterday which was patently dishonest."
She argued that Republican presidents, including Ronald Reagan, have talked to renegade countries. And she said Obama has made "absolutely clear" he will not deal with terrorist groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah.
While the White House officially denied the remarks were aimed at Obama, presumptive Republican nominee John McCain used the opportunity to argue again that Obama's willingness to negotiate shows he is naive and inexperienced in the ways of foreign policy.

Bush is running for what? He care and concern for Obaby Obama is what?
Right, and that will mean death to a lot of people. Leftists are such imbeciles.
That's the problem. He won't deal with them and they will flourish. That is why Hamas endorsed him and even ran phone banks for him in the primaries.
That said, this overreaction is most curious. As with others, I assumed that the President was talking about the anti-Semitic Peanut Farmer (although I think he was talking about all of the leftist 'rats like Pelosi that have met with bad guys) but Obama has taken to the label with a vigor I just cannot understand. The only explanation I can see is that he is trying to drag Bush into the race as a part of the "McCain is another Bush" meme...
The smart thing to do is let this die. To keep bringing it up is a losing proposition. That says something about Obama's intelligence.
We should not throw single stones at Obeyme. The media can suppress them if they come in one-at-a-time. Instead, we should unleash a fusillade of attacks, which would overwhelm the DBM’s capacity to neutralize all of them.
Obama seems a little thin skinned here..Dude, you're a Democrat...being weak on terror is a given. Hillary's got bigger balls then this guy.
Jimmah catta and Bar-rock Hussein Osama, two peas in a pod.
Asked by writer Jeffrey Goldberg if he was “flummoxed” by the Hamas support, Obama responds no and says: “It’s conceivable that there are those in the Arab world who say to themselves, ‘This is a guy who spent some time in the Muslim world, has a middle name of Hussein and appears more worldly and has called for talks with people, and so he’s not going to be engaging in the same sort of cowboy diplomacy as George Bush,’ and that’s something they’re hopeful about.”
Obama the Obamaination’s name was never mentioned.
I found myself falling for Obama’s Change message....Bush hit the nail on the head yesterday and has me back in the fold.....After seeing Biden, Pelosi, and other pompous, ego driven Democrat politicians denounce the president yesterday, McCain is my man...
I was going to change my party affiliation from Republican to Independant but NO more!!!I believe that the Republican leadership is loaded with almost as many eggheads as the Dems....Maybe this will change, if it doesn’t our nation is finished and I’ll be dead anyway..
Everyting hinges on the young people now. Do they possess any honor and nobility and the desire to enter politics for the right reasons, to do something about the dire situation our country is in now??? If not it’s all over!! Let’s hope and PRAY that they do and change our nation!!
Add another Hussein to his nailed list.
PMSNBC ever had objectivity or impartial reporters?? Man, I must have been asleep during those days hours broadcasts minutes.
If that is so, then it is a split that is absolutely necessary.
BooHoo!!
Nothing like bringing more focus on the subject!! hahahaha!! obama the appeaser...obama the appeaser
