I found myself falling for Obama’s Change message....Bush hit the nail on the head yesterday and has me back in the fold.....After seeing Biden, Pelosi, and other pompous, ego driven Democrat politicians denounce the president yesterday, McCain is my man...

I was going to change my party affiliation from Republican to Independant but NO more!!!I believe that the Republican leadership is loaded with almost as many eggheads as the Dems....Maybe this will change, if it doesn’t our nation is finished and I’ll be dead anyway..

Everyting hinges on the young people now. Do they possess any honor and nobility and the desire to enter politics for the right reasons, to do something about the dire situation our country is in now??? If not it’s all over!! Let’s hope and PRAY that they do and change our nation!!

I pray for my nation everyday. But here’s the deal. President Bush was in a different country and basically put down another American. No,I listened very carefully to his speech. This is what happened. I have silently read this board for three years and have watched the conversation turn away from American ideals and conservatism and now completely excuse this type of behavior. Then President Bush immediately left Israel to go meet with Saudi rulers and basically beg for something that he was turned down for. I don’t consider that leadership. Then, to boot, to my embarrassment, Senator McCain just aligned himself with what I feel is an anti-American action. You may all disagree with me, but this is how I feel. Having Governor Huckabee make that terrible joke on top of all this makes me embarrassed to be part of the same party. Where are the leaders of this party who can stand up and bring back the Reagan conservatism and leadership? We used to be the party of manners, conservative and compassionate Christianity and fiscal leadership. Sometimes I feel lost.
