Obama slams Clinton's "cowboy" talk on Iran (Obama wants nice talk and APPEASEMENT with Iran)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama accused rival Hillary Clinton of saber rattling toward Iran on Sunday and compared her approach to that of unpopular President George W. Bush.

"I think it's language that's reflective of George Bush. We have had a foreign policy of bluster and saber rattling," Obama said of Clinton's threat to "totally obliterate" Iran if it attacked Israel.

"It is important that we use language that sends a signal to the world community that we're shifting from the sort of cowboy diplomacy, or lack of diplomacy, that we've seen out of George Bush," the Illinois senator said on NBC's "Meet the Press."

Obama and Clinton sat for simultaneous TV interviews on different networks two days before primary contests in North Carolina and Indiana, the latest states to vote in the nominating process to determine who will take on Republican John McCain in the November election.

As it seems most of you find Obomba undesirable, correct? I would wager that you would not like to see this man as our president, correct? Then do what you must to insure that we never get a sniveling, appeasing coward like Obomba...

And no, diplomacy cannot work with the subhuman as it is a human enterprise...

unpopular President George W. Bush.

Notice the article doesn't mention that the democratic dominated Senate is even MORE unpopular than President Bush?

And since Obama is the most liberal Senator... would that make him the MOST UNPOPULAR Senator? Call me crazy but I think this topic merits a full blown article...

and besides, it will be interesting when Obama loses to McCain in a massive landslide because no self-respecting Conservative would vote for an out-and-out socialist (real reason) and of course... white folks won't vote for a black man... (media's explanation)

That's an excellent question. He needs to go on record with the answer to it. Does he believe Iran should have nukes? And does he believe that if Iran uses nukes on Israel (the premise of what Hillary was responding to) that a retaliation that obliterates Iran is not acceptable? Apparently, even a candid warning to Iran is too tough for this girly man.

Every day I wake up knowing that McCain is the only candidate remotely qualified to be the CinC, but by the time the day is over I’m back no not being sure if I can choke back the barf long enough to mash the button for him.

Faux News is distorting Obama’s position by claiming he just wants to “talk” to Iran but his exact plan is to “negotiate” with Iran and in other words “appease”.

I expect if he loses the headlines the next day will not say he lost or McCain won, they’ll say “STILL A RACIST COUNTRY.”

No kiddin’ Einstein! We are just not ready for a black candidate who is an out-and-out socialist, incapable of picking good characters to surround himself with and has a poor grasp on negotiating strategies...

OK - how about the fact that he is surrounded by highly experienced Democrat politicians, leftist activists, skilled speech writers, all of whom one might call a professional in their particular field. What comes out of his mouth is always carefully calculated.

That is unless it is while carousing around with female reporters on his aircraft while the girls film and oogle.

"It is important that we use language that sends a signal to the world community that we're shifting from the sort of cowboy diplomacy, or lack of diplomacy, that we've seen out of George Bush,"

Yet Obama can't even come up with a better description of the current administratyion's policy than "cowboy diplomacy". Ronald Reagan was a cowboy wasn't he?

Did you see Kevin James on Hardball last night? I advise anyone reading this thread to watch the video. It’s all over Youtube. Priceless.

“they’ll say “STILL A RACIST COUNTRY.”

And I, for one, won’t care what they say. It’s a fact that the producers, publishers, editors and writers of our news are overwhelmingly Democrats.

In any event, the future of our country is more important than the opinion of so-called journalists.

Obama would say it’s only “fair” for Iran to have nukes.

“And no, diplomacy cannot work with the subhuman as it is a human enterprise... “

that is unless diplomacy is used as a tactic. I'm thinking of the Japanese diplomats in Washington in 1941. While they are talking the Japanese fleet is moving into position to wipe out Pearl Harbor. It was an effective subterfuge.

“Did you see Kevin James on Hardball last night?”

It’s a shame that he couldn’t tell Sissy Mathews what Neville Chamberlain did, which was to concede the Sudetenland to Nazi Germany in exchange for the promise that Germany would end further military expansion. Remember Labensraum?
