And Democrats are outraged!
You can usually tell when President Bush hits the bullseye of truth. Democrats erupt into childish fits. They dont like it when the President points out how little they have learned from the lessons of history and how dangerously misguided liberal policies are.
When President Bush told the Israeli Knesset Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along, Obama and friends went into attack mode.
Obama made a statement stressing the need for tough diplomacy (talk). Nancy Pelosi (whose visit to Syria a year ago encouraged the current killings by Hezbollah in Lebanon) said that President Bushs remarks were beneath the dignity of the office. This is the same woman whose sense of dignity permits Code Pink circus freaks to run wild through the halls of Congress.
Senator Joe Biden (D-DE), demonstrating the dignity of his office called President Bushs remarks bullshit.
Here are President Bushs remarks in context:

****************THE KEY CAUSE FOR THE DEMS COMPLAINT APPARENTLY***************************
Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided. We have an obligation to call this what it is the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history. (Applause.)
****************************************snip*******************
We dont need to go back to the Second World War to find that appeasement fails. The Middle East is littered with examples. Obama criticized Bush, while praising President Reagans tough, principled, and direct diplomacy - to pressure countries like Iran and Syria. Im currently reading former Reagan Secretary of State George Shultzs memoir Turmoil and Triumph (its only 68 cents at Amazon, even Democrats bitter over their economic circumstances can afford it). Again and again Secretary Shultz describes how progress in the Middle East was undermined by attitudes of appeasement and weakness expressed by the usual withdrawal and surrender crowd in the United States.
Shultz makes it clear that our failure in the Middle East resulted from a policy that perverted Teddy Roosevelts speak softly and carry a big stick to speak softly and tie the big stick behind your back.
Currently in Lebanon, Hezbollah is running rampant at the direction of and with funding, training and arms supplied by Syria and Iran. You might not have heard about the conflict with many many innocents killed because the media which focused almost exclusively on Hezbollah casualties when Israel defended itself two years ago isnt interested when Hezbollah is killing Lebanese.
Since Israel pulled out of Lebanon after being attacked, the United Nations was supposed to step in and address the danger of armed Hezbollah militias. Yet, nothing was done. Nothing but talk. Nothing but appeasement.
Clearly, President Bushs speech in Israel has the ring of truth. Weve all seen it with our own eyes for decades. To borrow a Reagansim: Peace does not come without strength and the will to use it. There is no question that Democrats do not understand the benefits of a strong military with the will to use it to advance the cause of peace. The consequence of their appeasement is the very death and war they claim to wish to prevent.
Why can’t there be disagreements without being disagreeable and childish?
Why do Democrats / liberals / radicals / anarchists tend to have all this outrage when the president, or Republicans/conservatives in general, express a point of view which disagrees with their position?
OBAMA=OB(H)AMA(S) and his Chief appeasement officer is John “Coward” Kerry
Obama and Co. need to spend some time reading the Old Testament. In there is chronicled the history of the Middle East, and provides a backdrop for why appeasement does not work.
Bush never mentioned BHO, yet Barny claims Bush unfairly critized him. You know Bush hit a nerve and is right when Barny feels he’s being critized without his name being mentioned.
And the American Jewish voters will still overwhelmingly vote for the Dims. Go figure.
This is what the republicans need to do to win! Point out the foolishness of the democrats’ platform. The more the democrats complain, the republicans should hit back that it is the platform of the democrats and our national security depends on calling it what it is—weak and a failure.
Because their position is the only “true” position and anything that falls outside of that position is eeeeeevil.
Liberals are childish.
The Jews are like the Blacks. They vote democrat no matter what.
He didn’t need to name anyone. Jimmah the wise and Obammy took notice.
"Hussein Obamas big mouth, small brain, condescending, America-hating, grandkid-baby-terminating, born-alive-infant-abandoning, America-hating-wife, kooky-moonbat-America-hating-pastor, racially-divisive, race-baiting, crotch-saluting, America-flag-disrespecting ... chickens ... are coming home to roost ...!"
Wow, woke up the democrats, I dont under stand Nancy saying it was beneath the dignity of the office... guess blow jobs are okay for the office...I cannot remember ole Bill being beneath the dignity of the office.. only heard Monica was beneath the desk...
Why do they get angry?
How about this:
1) When we say things about defending America it makes them furious;
2) They think they’re smarter than we are;
3) They feel entitled because they think they’re smarter than us;
4) They are not patriots;
5) They are jealous of people who make their own way in the world and make a good living.
How am I doing so far?

I think socialist like to trash their opponents. If they can not trash you into submission, they they ratchet it up a level.
“Why do Democrats / liberals / radicals / anarchists tend to have all this outrage when the president, or Republicans/conservatives in general, express a point of view which disagrees with their position?”
Because to come to an understanding of Bush’s point of view, they would have to sit down and talk with “the enemy” (Bush and Republicans) and they only want to do that with America’s enemies, not the Democratic Party’s enemies (and, no, those classifications of enemy aren’t the same). Democrats believe in appeasing American enemies but destroying Republicans.
Democrats are really good a “faux” outrage. Everything Republicans do or say outrages them. Talk about thin skins! They would never last 60 seconds in President Bush’s shoes. He’s been pilloried in the press, by t.v. comedy shows, talk show hosts and even here. The Democrats would cry foul at every turn. Well boo friggin hoo to them!
American JINO voters, who hate Israel and America will again overwhelmingly vote for the Dims. (There is the answer).
Not True...........I have never voted for A DimWit and I’m 50 years old. Nor has my immediate family. I’m a card carrying member of the RJC. Who incidentally issued this statement this afternoon.....

Obama & Israel: Why So Defensive?
Washington, D.C. (May 15, 2008) — Responding to Sen. Barack Obama’s comments today about President Bush’s speech in Jerusalem, the Republican Jewish Coalition released the following statement:
“Why when Barack Obama hears the word ‘appeasement’ does he think it applies to him? Why when it comes to standing with Israel is Barack Obama so defensive? It is Barack Obama’s promise to meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad that causes great nervousness in the Jewish community. Hillary Clinton and George W. Bush agree — Barack Obama’s policies of direct presidential negotiations with hostile regimes, without precondition, is naïve and irresponsible.
Barack Obama’s shaky grasp of Middle East policy and repeated vows to meet with state sponsors of terrorism are alarming. Barack Obama has surrounded himself with advisors, past and present, like Gen. Merrill McPeak, Robert Malley, Congressman Jim Moran, Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Zbigniew Brzezinski, who choose to blame America’s Jewish community for the problems in the Middle East. It’s no wonder Hamas has endorsed Barack Obama.”
