Just off the House floor today, the Crypt overheard House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers tell two other people: Were closing in on Rove. Someones got to kick his ass.
Asked a few minutes later for a more official explanation, Conyers told us that Rove has a week to appear before his committee. If he doesnt, said Conyers, Well do what any self-respecting committee would do. Wed hold him in contempt. Either that or go and have him arrested.
Conyers said the committee wants Rove to testify about his role in the imprisonment of former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman, among other things.
We want him for so many things, its hard to keep track, Conyers said
Correct, maybe, the revisions in the latest round point that way. However, he was overwhelmingly (politically) humiliated based on the way he ran his hearings. My point was that Conyers is running hearings much the same way only no one will call him on it...

As The Hill newspaper reported last spring, two former Conyers aides alleged that he repeatedly violated House ethics rules by requiring aides to work on local and state campaigns, and babysit and chauffeur his children. Deanna Maher, a former deputy chief of staff in the Detroit office, and Sydney Rooks, a former legal counsel in his district office, shared numerous letters, memos, e-mails, handwritten notes and expense reports with The Hill. They also sent the same materials to the House ethics panel, the FBI and the U.S. attorneys office.
She also alleges that Mr. Conyers used his staff to work on the campaigns of friends and relatives, including his wifes, without taking leave. In 1998, she says, Mr. Conyers ordered her to live in his Detroit home for six weeks taking care of his children while his wife attended law classes. In a Dec. 22, 2004, letter obtained by the Hill, Miss Maher said Conyers staffer Melody Light conducts her law practice (charging legal fees) out of the congressional office She has in effect hung out her shingle on [Conyers] office door. Says Miss Maher in a Jan. 13 letter to the House ethics panel: I could not tolerate any longer being involved with continual unethical, if not criminal, practices which were accepted as business as usual. She quit in May.
Hugh breaking news: Rove to be indicted in 24 hours. Business hours. I’m series. Oh yeah, Hillary is only $10 away from taking the White House.
Karl Rove is a multiculturalist amnesty supporting open-borders neo-con.
Good damn riddance.
No attack on Rove ever fed a hungry child.
Rove is gone from the White House, and the RATs are still obsessed with him! I agree with another poster — Rove should go before all of these pompous a$$es and hand them their lunch!
They are too dumb.
DING!!!
Seriously, back around 2004, from listening to the leftwing rants,
you’d think that there was actually a law against keeping leftists out of power.
I guess it’s still carrying over to today.
The Dems are paranoid concerning Rove.
Conyers Ex-Staffer Renews Charges Against Him
Karl Rove is controlling his mind!
Rove, you magnificent bastard!!
I have posted that ‘toon any number of times over the last few years and have never had Jim or a Mod tell me to not post it..
To my knowledge, except in a rare instance, Editorial cartoons are not and have never been an issue from this or any publication I frequent online.
Despite your dislike of the man, the point was that they only want Rove because he designed the plans to defeat them in 2000 and 2004. He may be out now, but that dooesn’t mean he cannot run another campaign, so they want his name smeared, and hope to throw in in jail fo rANYTHING to fully discredit him.
I’ll just post the link then, and not the pic. It seemed like a good fit. Oh, and btw, I connect dots quite well. Thanks!
